LaserThe preferred method in precision profiling due to its tolerances of +/- 0.1mm, the laser is capable of cutting thicknesses up to 25mm mild steel, 15mm stainless steel nitrogen clean cut, also aluminium, brass, copper, zintec, aludip, titanium and galvanized. We have automatic bed loading and nesting all of which increase efficiency.

Hi-Def PlasmaHi-definition plasma cutting is an alternative to the laser. It lacks the accuracy of the laser with +/-0.5mm. However, for profiles such as mounting brackets where the tolerance is not crucial you will find that this process is more than satisfactory.

WaterjetThe water jet is an excellent profiling tool, it is capable of cutting 100mm thick, 130mm in aluminium. Since the water jet uses water and sand or garnet to cut there are no restrictions to the materials that it can cut making it a superb alternative for almost any cutting requirements.

150mm thick We also provide the option of plasma cutting. This is similar to the hi-def, however, it can cut up to a thickness of 150mm with a tolerance of +/- 1mm on the top side. Plasma is most suitable when accuracy is not paramount.

Precision ProfilingWe will advise on the most appropriate method for your project and you can be sure of a competitive price and reliable performance.

FabricationAlongside precision profiling, Laser Centre UK also provide a large variety of fabrication and finishing processes,

enabling us to help you at any stage of your requirements.

just ask - we’re here to help

Forming An often requested process, folding or bending is used on many precision-cut profiles. Whether its for a simple mounting bracket or a complex integrated product.

WeldingProcessed profiles often require welding, bushes, spigots, lids, threads, general construction, base plates and much more. We offer Mig & Tig welding in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Polishing & Powder Coating

We offer a range of polishing from mechanical 320 grade, to mirror polished, shot blasting is also available. If a polished finish is not practical or you need your product to be protected as well as to look good, powder coating is a great option, whatever the colour.

Punching

More suitable where there are numerous holes or slots, usually used on larger quantities, but can be cost effective on smaller batches dependant on the type of job.

Machining Many components also need turning, milling, boring, drilling etc, either after profiling or from scratch. We provide a full range of CNC/conventional machining.
