Cylinders or bundles are located separately installed from laser. Hereby the Laser receives a prefabricated laser gas. Single or double cylinder gas supply might be utilized. Double cylinder gas supply enable continuous operation due to uninterrupted gas supply. Finally close to the laser point-of-use regulators (EMD) are installed. Building the second pressure stage of the central gas supply they achieve constant operating pressure.

Laser gas supply is essentially carried out with single cylinders. Hereby the Laser receives a prefabricated laser gas. Double stage cylinder regulators (FMD) reduce cylin-der pressure to the laser operating pressure. The laser process has to be interrupted in case of changing cylinders.

Excimer Laser Gas Supply

to clarify further details of this program please contact the manufacturer. Gas supply components of a Excimer Laser Gas Supply always need individual configuration and security reason adaption following the specific conditions of factual installation.

This figure shows a typical Excimer-Laser-Gas Supply with components such as: purging unit (in this case purging unit connected to the cylinder) to maintain the gas purity, with inlet for inert purge gas (Argon, Nitrogen), and a gas panel with subsequent point-of-use regulators. Alternative cylinder regulators with purge unit are applied.

Inlet integrated non return valves prevent decanting in this case. On demand this panel might be equipped with contact gauges (KI) . Inlet: W 21,8 x 1/14”, Outlet: ball valve G1/2“f. Not for flammable gases.

EFFIcIENt GAS SUPPLYThe supply of appropriate gases of high purity determines the productive efficiency of modern, premium laser equipment. Maintaining gas purity by choosing the very best gas supply device appears essential for that reason. Inherently marginal loss of purity possibly results in limited values of performance appointed by the lasers manufacturer. The output of performance might be reduced, the constancy of electric discharge can be jammed, reduction of continuous operation due to increased demand of maintenance of optical components or even the replacement of costly hardware might be the result.A advantageous conception, the choice of suitable components of the gas supply, a properly adjusted system as well as a installation meeting the capacity requirements and a professional operation are therefore essential for a steady, economic laser function of high performance.

The GCE Group is Europe’s leading gas-equipment company and organized according to four business areas: Cutting and Welding, Medical, High-Purity and Process Applications.

The company’s foreign branches are located in China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the United States, with additional local sales offices in Austria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal.

The GCE Group’s headquarters are located in Malmö, Sweden, and its main production units are in the Czech Republic, Poland and China. The hub of the group is the Czech factory in Chotěboř, some two hours’ drive east of Prague. Central functions such as R&D, quality control, purchasing, IT and logistics are based here. Today’s product portfolio corresponds to a large variety of applications, from simple pressure regulators and blowpipes for cutting and welding to sophisticated gas-supply systems for medical and electronics-industry applications. The company has two central warehouses: the European Distribution Centre in Kladno, north of Prague, and NDC, the

Nordic Distribution Centre, which is located in Malmö and services more than 8,000 customers across the world.

GCE’s portfolio includes a large number brands such as Autogen, Butbro, Charledave, DruVa, Mediline, Mujelli, Propaline and Rhöna, which are leaders within their own respective regional markets and applications.

In addition to certification according to the ISO 9001 quality standard, products are tested and certified by BAM, BSI, Norske Veritas, US DOT, UL, CEN, DIN and SIS, among others. All units connected with medical products have EN approvals for CE marking and many GCE units have been approved according to the ISO 14000 environmental standard.

The GCE Group has grown rapidly since its establishment and is leading the restructuring of the European gas-equipment industry through mergers and acquisitions. The group currently employs more than 1,200 people.
