Disciples of Christ”. Talking about our faith and sharing our experiences are definitely great ways to make Disciples of Christ.

The most effective way to change the world around you is in how you behave. Your actions speak volumes to family, friends, community and even strangers.

Believing in Jesus is the beginning of faith. Developing a relationship with Him nurtures faith. Placing Him at the center of one’s life gives Him primary importance. Living the truth that He is within us makes us Disciples of Christ capable of changing the world.

An important update from the Pastor: A significant set-back in my health will prevent my immediate return to active ministry in our Family. Unfortunately, I have experienced a compression fracture at the base of my spine and am having difficulty with a significant amount of discomfort. I will be off for a few more weeks as I await a medical appointment to determine what may need to be done to correct the issue. With the back pain, I have no choice but to delay the move to Sacred Heart Rectory. Please keep me in your prayers as I am anxious to return to full-time ministry.

Family of Parishes “Pastor and Associate Pastor Meeting”: Both priests are required to attend a meeting this Thursday in London with our Bishops and all other Pastors and Priests involved in a “Family of Parishes”. Fr. Ray will be attending representing both of us. The Bishop requests a regular monthly gathering with the Pastors of Families so that he may be kept apprised of what is happening in our “Families” and so that he might continue to clarify the direction that we are to take and offer his support to those facing difficulties in the transition process. Effective July 6, 2020 there will be 17 Families of Parishes operating in the Diocese of London. There are 13 more Families to be named in the next years. This model will affect every parish in our diocese.

Something New! Are you looking to connect with other families with young children or maybe a social outing with your little ones? A free, casual “Drop-In” style Parent & Tot group is being formed at

St. Paul Church and will be held every Thursday from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome. Donations of gently used, age appropriate toys for children under 3 are being accepted for this new group and can be dropped off at St. Paul Church from 9am to 11am on weekdays and before/after Masses on weekends.

Looking for a few retired ladies who would like to help out with our LRC Parent & Tot group on Thursdays from 11am to 1pm. Please call Rebecca at the parish office (519)734-8044 for more information. Ushers’ All You Can Eat Pasta Dinner: No plans for Valentine’s Day? Join us on Friday, February 14th in the St. Joseph Parish hall from 5pm - 8pm for an All You Can Eat Pasta Dinner. Tickets are $10 per

PPC Discernment: A reminder for anyone who is interested in submitting their names for discernment for the PPC, forms must be submitted to the office no later than February 16th. Forms can be found at the entrances.

World Day of the Sick - Tuesday, February 11th Remember in your prayers the sick and suffering, as well as those dealing with physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual difficulties.

RCIA Day of Reflection: Candidates and their spouses, Parish and Personal Sponsors, as well as the Teaching Team are

invited to attend on Saturday, February 22nd from 9am to 3:30pm in the parish hall. Parishioners are asked to pray for these candidates as they continue to discern their place in the Catholic Church and journey towards Easter.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Retrouvaille ("retro-vi" with a long i) has helped tens of thousands of couples experiencing marital difficulty at all levels of distress including disillusionment and deep misery. The program is designed to provide the tools to help get marriages back on track. The next Retrouvaille weekend in Windsor/Essex will be the weekend of Feb. 14th - 16th at Holy Family Retreat House. Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board Kindergarten registration takes place from February 18th - 28th at all Catholic schools. There will also be an open house/registration evening at your local Catholic school on Wednesday, February 19th from 5pm - 7pm.
