Ready to Bucket Test:

1. Ramp Motor to 1500 rpm’s 2. Toggle switch to Auto for pump bucket testing.3. On Status Screen on Rolligon start pump by putting it in run.4. Wait for pump to reach a steady rate such as 1gal/min which would tell me your set point is 1.

Do not run a Dry Pump!5. Use a graduated bucket marked at one gallon and two gallons to put chemical In. With a stop

watch start timer and at that moment have chemical hose swapped to graduated bucket. At end of 1 minute move hose from graduated bucket. With a Set point of 1 and after 1 minute you should have exactly 1 gallon in graduated bucket.

6. If not very close to set point than the units high will have to be changed for that pump to dial it in. The units high can be found in Analog Inputs and scroll to pump working on. Or change multiplier.

7. If Bucket test is to low, lower the number on units high by 0.5 If Bucket test is to high raise units high by 0.5. Other method change multiplier by .5 so instead of having a 1 you could change it to a .95 and you will pump less.(Directly Proportional)

8. Bucket test again until you get the exact measured quantity you need for that set point.9. Test manual pot for that pump as well by moving pot until it matches set point. Move on to next

pump and repeat process.10. After bucket testing change Analog Input 11 units low to zero again. Change Rate meters to

Blender 1 Freq. Change Serial inputs to Calculated. Change Set point to job set point or zero.

Troubles:

Air- tiny little bubbles will be in chemical and might look foamy. Pump is catching air and micro motion rate will be all over the place. Check all connections.

Bad pump- Pump will not reach max rate. Counts could have been change in Rolligon. Test by using manual lever on hydraulics for that pump and push lever to full rate.

Set Point or Loading is to low for the selected pump.

IF Micro motion rate is all over the place you have a Dirty meter clean by circulating diesel through it. PID loop could need adjustment, see electronics technician for assistance.

PID LOOP ADJUSTMENT:

Null: Move down if pump starts when switch is toggled to Auto.

Sample Time: The lower the number the quicker information is displayed for that pump.

Integral: Raise Number to lower climb to set point. (Rate is passing set point). Change number lower to raise climb. (Rate is under set point). Number is inverse proportional

Proportional: If it takes a long time before rate matches set point or if rate is jumping all around set point, try moving proportional number a little. Number is directly proportional.

Derivative: leave alone

Note: To save changes put switches to stop and change Run to stand bye on Rolligon

ZERO MICROMOTIOIN

The micro motion must be full of chemical and not circulating, Shut it in. While the LAS is running and at full throttle (1500 rpm) go to Analog Inputs on Rolligon for that pumps micro-motion. Press ZERO button twice. No rate should be visible for that pump. This is how you clear a ghost Rate. If rate is still visible clean micro motion by circulating diesel through it.
