Following your meeting with the Prime Minister last evening,I am writing to confirm that she decided that we would notask any Foreign "Conservative" to address the Party Conferencein Brighton on 8th October 1982.
The Prime Minister also decided that she would not be presentat the EDU Meeting in Paris at the beginning of July 1982.
I take it that you will approach Peter Carrington about himgoing to that Conference.
The Prime Minister said that she would be glad to meet M. Chiracwhen he was next in London, and suggested that she might givea lunch for him. You said that the Foreign Office would bequite happy about this.
411 Could you let me know, please, as soon as possible, when M. Chiracis likely to be in London?
