Auctioneers Note: Gene passed away last summer and his estate has been sold to a local collector. Portions of the estate are now being offered for sale at auction by the new owner. Gene’s entire collection is not being sold as some items were kept by the family, some items were sold by Gene prior to his death, and some items were kept by the individual who bought the estate. Regardless, this will still be a large auction with lots of goodies (imagine Gene rubbing his hands together). Gene was a passionate collector and there will be a nice selection of items at the auction. Gene’s shop/garage flooded in the Missouri River flood of 2011 and everything was boxed up prior to the flood and moved to dry storage. Gene got sick about that time and the collection for the most part was not unpacked after that. While many of the boxes were unpacked for the auction listing, many were not so expect lots of suprises!!
