Tip Sites

SUBDIVISION GROUND WORKSKeysborough, Victoria

Working within a challenging time frame, Lantrak supplied a turn-key solution for the secure transport and disposal of over 30,000m3 of impacted material containing C&D waste.

After a detailed assessment of the site we were able to provide significant cost savings through coordinated disposal of impacted materials to various disposal locations according to the material classification.

An independent environmental consultant was engaged to provide the necessary clearance for the site to be utilised for its intended purpose (residential subdivision) upon completion of the ground works.

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTBox Hill, Victoria

Lantrak Environmental Solutions were engaged by the civil contractor to provide a cost-effective secure solution for the transport and disposal of Asbestos impacted soils.

Working with an environmental hygienist, over 40,000 tonnes of material were remediated and reclassified for off-site disposal to a Licensed Disposal Facility. Up to 4 excavators ranging from 20-50t, 12,000 Litre water cart along with 12-15 truck and trailers were used daily.

A key factor in delivering the project successfully was material tracking processes, with daily reporting of volumes. Use of compliant machinery with suitably licensed operators ensured the highest safety standards were met over the 10 month duration of the project.

Recent Projects

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTMelbourne, Victoria

In November 2011, Lantrak were awarded the transport and disposal of approximately 60,000 tonnes of contaminated fill material, from the first section of the Major Regional Rail Upgrade project.

The project is based around existing infrastructure which incorporates an operating train-line. Lantrak had to ensure that they were able to coordinate the transportation and disposal of the material outside of normal operational hours to meet the project requirements.

By utilising our large fleet of EPA compliant trucks and network of disposal sites, we were able to meet these requirements.
