SPECIAL SCHEMES ON LANDLINE/FWT/WLL 1. Free Insurance Coverage to Landline/FWT/WLL & Postpaid Mobile customers:

BSNL offers free insurance coverage for its subscribers in case of:(i) Accidental death(ii) Permanent total disability due to accident. (Permanent Total Disability means Loss of sight of both

eyes, Physical separation of or loss of ability to use both hands or both feet, Physical separation of or loss of ability to use one hand and one foot, Loss of sight of one eye and physical separation of or loss or ability to use either one hand or one foot).

Scheme Applicable For:(i) The insurance coverage scheme will be applicable for the subscribers of landline including WLL

& postpaid Cellular services. (ii) This scheme will not be applicable for subscribers under Government, PSU, Corporate customers,

NGOs, PCOs etc. Only distinctively identifiable individuals shall be benefited.Insurance Coverage Amount:Capital sum insured per connection: Rs.50000. If a customer has four connections i.e. two landlines, one WLL & one postpaid mobile or vice versa, then total insurance coverage of that customer will be Rs.2.00 Lakhs instead of Rs.50000/-Period of Insurance:The period of insurance will be initially for one year from 14th January, 2008 (starting from midnight of 13th January, 2008).Claim Procedure:

All claims will be settled centrally directly by M/s Bajaj Allianz Insurance Co. Ltd. at Pune Office. The Toll free Number of call Center for intimation of claims as under: -1800-225858 (From BSNL/MTNL lines only) & 1800-1025858 (From Bharti Mobile/Landline)

2. Rent Free Landline Connection Scheme:One landline (bfone) connection would be offered free of cost (No rental but usage charges will be there) to the CICs/Corporate/General Customer of bfone having average monthly bill of Rs.2000 and more (average of last six months). Important Features:1. Fixed Monthly Rental: Nil 2. Free Calls: Nil 3. Call Charges: Rs.1.20 per MCU4. The connection will be provided to the individual or organization in the same premises where bfone is

working.5. Initially connection will be provided without STD.6. For STD facility subscriber has to give request with applicable security deposit.

3. New Telephone connections to govt. department without security deposit:New telephone connections (bfone) except temporary connection may be provided without security deposit (ARD) to the State government departments, Central government departments, Central PSUs, Local/Municipal bodies etc. No refund/adjustment of existing ARD/Security deposit is permitted under any circumstances.

4. Free Centrex facility can be provided to Commercially Important Customers (CICs)/Corporate Customers of BSNL on approval

from CGM, subject to the condition that there should be minimum 50 connections and revenue of Rs.4 Lakhs per annum with group billing.

2. Free Centrex facility within the single exchange area without insisting for group (consolidated) billing can be provided to Commercially Important Customers (CICs)/Corporate Customers of BSNL on approval from CGM.

C. Special Broadband Package for CICs: Special broadband packages in respect of bulk booking and special concession for CICs are as below,

1. Bulk Booking: Any customer seeking 25 or more connections may be treated as bulk booking. The installation charges @ Rs.500 per connection may be waived off in case of bulk booking in same building or location.

2. Broadband Connections at residence of employees of CICs booking bulk connection: Though the telephones are in corporate/firm name and working at residence of the employees, the “Home Plan” may be permitted on such connections.

3. Exemption from Security Deposit for CICs: The security deposit on bulk connections may be exempted subject to and undertaking to be given by the concerned CIC assuring payment of due charges within stipulated time.

4. Discount on bulk broadband connection on monthly rental of all tariff plans:S. (ONLY FOR GUJARAT CIRCLE)Lo Kar Lo Baat (LKLB) Sulabh is an additional Add-On facility on existing BSNL Landline that will allow unlimited free calls only to BSNL Landline/FWT/WLL i.e. on level-2 numbers within Gujarat. Call to BSNL mobile level 94 will be charged. This facility can be availed by paying additional LKLB Sulabh facility charge of Rs.99/- per month (Excluding Service Tax) on existing plan. This monthly charge will be over and above the existing plan charges in which customer is currently billed. This scheme is available to existing/new customer as well. Centrex shall be same as normal DEL.(ii) The monthly plan charges shall be levied on each DELs covered under Centrex as under:

Call Waiting: This call waiting facility helps you to attend to an incoming call to your telephone when you are engaged on a call. This service is open for all.

Procedure for activation- Dial 118 and get the acceptance tone similar to the engage tone but with a longer gap between the beeps. After activation of this service, while you are engaged on telephone conversion, you will hear special warning pips at the arrival of another call. On getting special pips during telephone conversion tap the hook switch and

Dial “1” to disconnect the party with whom you have been talking and attend to new call. Dial “2” to hold the party to whom you have been talking previously and attend to new call.

Procedure for deactivation of facility-Dial 119 and get the acceptance tone.

Call Transfer (Call Forward): By using call transfer facility, incoming calls to your telephone can be transferred or directed to another local telephone number of your choice. Facility of call transfer will be provided to subscriber on written request to the concerned commercial officer.

Procedure for activation- Dial 114 followed by the local telephone number for which the call is to be transferred and wait for the acceptance tone.

Procedure for deactivation of facility-Dial 115 and wait for acceptance tone.

Abbreviated Dialing: You may be calling a few people very frequently. It is possible to program these numbers as abbreviated codes of 1 or 2 digits. A maximum of 20 numbers can be programmed for abbreviated dialing. It is ideal for STD/ISD. Facility of abbreviated dialing will be provided to subscriber on written request to the concerned commercial officer.Procedure for abbreviated dialing-

Choose a short code for the number you dial frequently e.g. '20' for the number xxxxxxxx. (For STD No. STD Code + xxxxxxxx)

Dial 110, then the Short Code followed by the subscriber's number i.e. 11020xxxxxxxx

Wait for the acceptance tone. Now number is included in the short code. To call the number dial 111 followed by the Short Code, which you have

already chosen for your required number i.e. dialing 11120 will dial the number xxxxxxxx.

To cancel or re-allot the same number dial 11020 yyyyyyyy (new tel. no) this will store code 20 for new number yyyyyyyy overwriting the earlier no. xxxxxxxx.

Automatic Wake-Up/Reminder Call Service: By using Automatic Wake up / Reminder Service facility, you can register your request by dialing a sequence of digits specifying the time and date for wake up / reminder call by yourself without any operator coming on the line. Precisely at the requested time, your telephone will ring. On lifting the receiver, you will hear the recorded reminder and wake up message. This service is open for all.

Procedure for activation- Dial 116 followed by the time you wish to be reminded or woken up e.g. if you wish to be reminded or woken-up at 06.15 AM (06.15 hrs.) dial 1160615, and for 06:15 PM (18:15 hrs) dial 1161815.

Procedure for deactivation of facility- Dial 117 followed by the time you booked the call. i.e. to cancel the reminder or wake up call at 06:15 AM (06:15 hrs) dial 1170615 and for 06:15 PM (18:15 hrs) dial 1171815.

PHONE PLUS FACILITY ON LANDLINEHotline Facility: By using Hot Line facility, you get automatically connected to the telephone number chosen by you as soon as you lift the hand set even without dialing. At the same time you may want to have the flexibility to dial any other number of your choice. It is possible to have this facility in the digital exchanges by the delayed hotline feature. The number of your choice can be programmed by the exchange staff at your request. After doing so if you lift the telephone and do not dial within 5 seconds, you will be automatically connected to the programmed number. However if you start dialing with in 5 seconds, you can make an outgoing call as usual. Facility of hotline will be provided to subscriber on written request to the concerned commercial officer.Number/Call Hunting Facility: If you have more than one telephone line, this facility is very helpful for your caller. If the called line is engaged, your caller does not have to disconnect and dial other line(s). This facility automatically transfers the incoming call to whichever line is free. Call hunting facility will be provided to subscriber on written request to the concerned commercial officer.Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP): The subscriber has to buy separately the CLIP display device from market. Using this facility you can see the number of the calling party before lifting your

telephone. This facility is very useful to trace malicious caller. However, the CLIP instrument shall be procured and installed by the users themselves. Phone Bell Check: Dial 161 and after a few second replace the handset. Your phone will ring very soon. This facility is useful for checking functioning or adjusting volume of bell of your phone.Electronic Locking for STD/ISD: Using this facility you can lock/allow Local, STD or ISD calls in many way viz. all calls allowed, only local calls allowed, only STD & Local calls allowed, all outgoing calls barred etc. This facility is for 100% protection against improper use of your telephone. 5. Bar STD/ISD/manual trunk calls: Dial 121 ABCD 2 then wait for the acceptance tone then disconnect. Now STD/ISD/manual trunk calls will be barred (It will also bar calls to 95 level).

6. Bar of all the calls: Dial 121 ABCD 4 & for ZTE based FWT Dial 124 ABCD 4, then wait for the acceptance tone then disconnect. Now all the calls will be barred except 10* level. (This facility is applicable only if STD Facility is available).

7. Open STD/ISD calls: Dial 121 ABCD 0 & for ZTE based FWT Dial 124 ABCD 0, then wait for the acceptance tone then disconnect. Now STD/ISD calls can be made.

8. Open STD calls only: Dial 121 ABCD 3 & for ZTE based FWT Dial 124 ABCD 3, then wait for the acceptance tone then disconnect. Now STD calls can be made.
