Landhotel Schloss Teschow is nestled in the gentle, rolling hills of the “Mecklenburgische Schweiz” country park, surrounded by a 120 hectare estate. The great park with its ancient trees borders directly onto the Teterower Lake and exudes harmony and peace: Tranquillity that transfers to you and quickly allows you to escape from everyday life. In the castle and adjoining wings, there are 93 rooms and suites with modern conveniences such as wi-fi, TV, radio, telephone with baby monitors at your disposal. They are available in the categories: “Park & Lake View” and “Field & Meadow”. Rooms in the “Park & Lake View” category offer magnificent views over the nearby Lake Teterow and the spacious English gardens with their stock of ancient trees and charming pathways.

The “Field & Meadow” rooms offer a view of the glowing yellow rape fields so typical of the region, of paddocks with grazing horses and cattle or blooming meadows in rural Teschow. Rooms in all categories are generously proportioned and measure at least 30 m2.

For families, we offer our spacious family rooms with separate children’s room and special facilities that cater to parents and children alike, with games, fun and excitement for every age group.

The “von Moltke” & “von Blücher” squire‘s lodgingsOur apartment houses are located just a few metres away from the castle and a couple of steps away from the “von Blücher” restaurant. With a total of 18 apartments, we offer couples, families and friends the opportunity for carefree enjoyment of their country holiday while availing of the hotel’s many offers and services. Apartments from 50 to 125 m2 are available in the guesthouses, all fitted with a separate kitchen area. In these surroundings, with a view out onto the meadows and woods, it will soon become your home from home.

Start your day with a treat – with our country breakfast! We enjoy spoiling you with our homemade country bread or gravlax, regional sausage and cheese varieties.

And it‘s not just at the breakfast table that you can savor the finest regional produce: In our “Conrad” restaurant, you can also look forward to a menu that features a large number of organic ingredients. Our cooperation with “ländlichfein” underlines our philosophy of only using first-class ingredients from our region: fish from local waters, game from nearby forests, meat from animals reared in a suitable environment and herbs from the castle’s own herb garden.

Our restaurant »von Blücher« offers fresh, uncomplicated country cooking for the whole family or for a cosy get-together among friends. The ambience is rustic and the interior decoration makes reference to the rural surroundings and to the building‘s previous function as a barn.

Our farm shop is also located in the »von Blücher« restaurant and offers a wide range of regional products, particularly for our self-cate-ring apartment guests.

Our spacious estate, with its stock of ancient trees, gently rolling hills and the idyllic scenery of Lake Teterow, forms the backdrop to our 110 hectare golf park. Both courses are beautifully maintained, continually upgraded and guarantee a fantastic playing experience.

While the public 9-hole course “Am Silberberg” is ideal for beginners, the 18-hole course “Am See” offers the odd challenge even to experienced players. Some holes feature a blind drive or as many as three water hazards.

To arouse your passion for golf, we offer proficiency courses for beginners and improvement courses and individual lessons with our golf pro to improve your game.

With us, you have the chance to do all the things that you do not have the time or opportunity to do in your everyday life. We stand for the richness of nature and offer those looking to explore the region on foot, by bicycle or Pedelec, a wide selection of walks and bike trails. Its central location at the heart of the “Mecklenburgische Schweiz und Kummerower See” nature park puts the Landhotel Schloss Te-schow in the immediate vicinity of three hiking trails: 1. Lake Kum-merow round tour, 2. Malchin basin radial tours and 3. Teterow basin radial tours, consisting of a total of ten day-trip sections. The hiking trails are also used by cyclists, who however also have the option of undertaking longer trips to the romantic castles and manors and more distant destinations in Mecklenburg’s Switzerland. Hire bikes or eBikes or grab a pair of Nordic Walking poles!

Lake Teterow, most of which is a protected natural amenity and whose shore adjoins the Landhotel Schloss Teschow, can also be experi-enced on an excursion to the Burgwallinsel island aboard the historic motor launch “Regulus”. Our staff will provide you with all informati-on about the various leisure options in the countryside. You can also find information about the numerous cultural events in the region, such as “Kunst offen” (“open art”), the sculpture trail, concerts in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania festival and lots more besides!

We have developed a wide range of leisure offers to enable youto make use of the extensive area around the Landhotel Schloss Teschow es-tate. As well as our tried and tested “cattle safari” on a neighboring farm, you can have a barbecue at the meadow fireplace in front of the country hall or just enjoy a campfire. The Landhotel Schloss Teschow is part of the Mecklenburger ParkLand network. Located between the small towns of Tessin, Laage, Teterow and Gnoien, the Mecklenbur-ger ParkLand is steeped in the centuries-old history of the manorial economy: parks, farmers’ cottages, churches, manor houses and lar-gely preserved natural surroundings that resemble an English garden landscape. Children have their own dedicated facilities at the Landhotel Schloss Teschow. We love looking after our little guests free of charge in the “Gänseblümchen”, where our comprehensive range of activities is gu-aranteed to keep them occupied and entertained.Our reception staff will also be happy to tell you about the leisure options in the surrounding area.
