VolcanoesVolcanoes are a huge part of our envirment. They make land like islands.

Volcanoes are beautiful but they are a great danger when they erupt, they`re lava can travel for tons of miles destroying everything in it`s

way. Volcanoes form when two tectonic plates reach causing one to go beneath the crust and the other to go above.

CAVERNCaverns are usally hallow and dark underground caves with big

stalagmites. People like to visit caverns because of what a beautiful sight they are. People do lots of stuff to caverns so they will get more visitors to spend money. Like, carve stalagmites and make light show.

Bodies of WaterThe bodies of water are very inportant parts of the earth. Without them the earth would dry up and nothing would servive. About 75% of the earth is bodies of water. There are 5 oceans, Pacific, Atlantic, Artic, Indian, and Southern.

Some bodies of water are lake, river, ocean, stream, waterfall, Oceans are found on beaches and bays.

GlaciersGlaciers are found in very cold places. The places where they are found ocean`s are

getting higher because the glaciers are melting. Glaciers can be dangerous when they are

melting. When they are melting they crack until huge blocks come crashing down.

MountainsMountains are like volcanoes but very different because inside of mountains are solid rock instead of hot burning magma or lava.

Mountains aren`t hollow like volcanoes. Mountains usally don`t have holes at the top like volcanoes. Mountains are caused when earthquakes

force the ground upward. Mountains are a bigger version of hills.
