I am a connective piece of land
So small, so thin so bland
The thing that keeps North and South America connected
How many people thank me for the things that I do
Miles of ocean are around me always
Uniquely made from erosion I lay here everyday
Southerners migrate north along my surface

I live on a rocky throne, no one lives on me I'm on my own. They run scream and dash when I decide to blow out ash. When they think every thing is alright I shoot up fire and light the night. All their stuff is what they take when I fill there houses with fiery lakes. I am full of power and over the world is where I tower, I am strong and my fiery rein will last a thousand life longs. I am Mt. St. Helens.

I am made of cold ice, I wonder when people are going to come, I hear people coming up the mountain, I see the sand under me, I wan the sand to stop coming, I am a glacier. I am cold ice, I move very slowly, I love the big mountain, I like a lot of sand, I want to get bigger, I am a big glacier.
Glacier By Charlie
I am a glacier, I see the chilly ocean, I feel the cold wind pass by, I touch the snow when it falls, I smell the ocean breeze, I hear the cracking of the ice. I understand when I break up, I pretend to crack, I say I am ready to move I dream of when the world was ice, I hope I can get away, I try to break away, I am a glacier.
Glaciers by Charlie
Grinding rocks off of mountains, Leaving rocks and soil behind me when I melt, Always wanting to leave my mark, Carrying soil and rock when I pass over, I am always on the move across the land, Erasing the surface of the earth, Riding on the ocean’s liquid.
Mount St. Helens by Janea
I am Mount St. Helens I wonder what other volcanoes are doing I hear people talking about my eruption I see people walking on my old, hard lava I want to have my warm top back on me I am Mount St. Helens. I pretend that nothing happened in 1980, I see my lava trying to calm down, I tough many things with my steamy lava, I worry about when I’m going to explode
again, I cry over all of the damage I’ve made, I am Mount St. Helens.
