The increasing demand to regulate the use of landresources, and the growing awareness that land‐usemanagement problems are better addressed through amanagement problems are better addressed through aparticipatory and integrated approach, initiated DodomaLand Use Management Project (DLUMP), in 1992.(MLHSD DLDO SNV N h l d )(MLHSD, DLDO, SNV‐Netherlands)
