2: Sills

You will need to remove the plastic sills for fitting these side steps, these will then be refitted when the brackets are on.

The sills do not come pre cut, however Land Rover do mark out where you need to cut them.

This is what it will look like after it has been cut, you will then need to file the sides down for a neater finish.

Once the sills have been cut then they will fit perfectly with the brackets.

3: Fitting the brackets.

3.1: The rear brackets

For fitting the rear brackets you need to fit them using captive nuts and the fixings as shown in the photos.

This is how it should look when the captive nuts are secured properly.

3.2: The Middle brackets

For fitting the middle brackets you need to fit them using captive nuts and the fixings as shown in the photos.

3.3: The Front brackets

For fitting the front brackets you need to fit them using captive nuts and the fixings as shown in the photos.

4: Final Fitting Steps

After fitting the brackets, you will need to refit the sill, after which you will then be able to fit the side steps to the brackets.

The steps will have the fixings underneath already as shown in the photo.

This should be how the finished product looks on your vehicle.

We advise that after a little while you check that the fixings are still firmly in place and haven’t come loose – if they have you will need to tighten these up again.

We also offer a fitting service down at our depot in Derby on our opening days Monday –Friday. We do need a weeks notice to make sure we can book you in for the time you want as we have a lot of bookings. You can enquire about our fitting slots available via phone or email.

Please check for any damage on the side steps before fitting and contact us if there are any problems, as if they are fitted when they are damaged we are not able to accept liability for them.
