CONTENTS

COMPETITIONSThe best 4 scores from 6 from the following competitions will be awarded the John Orr Trophy:Cameronian Bowl 1st Rd, Lithgow and Winston Qualifier, Hutchison Cross & Forrest Cup, Captain’s Prize, Hamilton Houldsworth Cup and Silver Claret Jug & Gibson Carmichael Casket.

All Saturday and Sunday Stroke Play Competitions from 31 March until 2 June 2018 are events where the best 2 scores determines the Qualifiers for the Club Championship, Seniors Trophy and Bob Spiers Trophy (Handicap Trophy).The Club Championship will have 36 Qualifiers with the Seniors Trophy and Bob Spiers Trophy having 18 each.

Entry Forms will be required to be submitted for these competitions. They will be available from theClubhouse or the Web Site 4 weeks in advance of the events.

Sunday Medals will be played between 7.30am and 1.30pm.

Wednesday Medals will be run each Wednesday from 11 April until 26 September 2018 from 10.00am until 4 hours before sunset (as shown on the online booking sheet) with the exception of the weeks there is a Thursday Medal and when the course is unavailable due to other Competitions. This will be run as a joint medal with the Ladies for Sweep and Two’s purposes.

Thursday Medals will be played between 10am and 4 hours before sunset.11am to 3pm will be reserved for medal booking all other times will require to be booked as is done for Wednesday Medals.

Rules for the Conduct of CompetitionsGeneral1. Minimum entry for any competition (except Thursday Medals & Ladies Competitions) will be 10 players.2. All ties and competitions will be played from the Medal Tees, which shall be so marked.3. The Match Secretary or a member of the Club Council will be present at all draws.4. It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure they have entered the Competition via the Computer.5. Any dispute must be referred to the Match and Handicap Convener.6. All Stroke Play, Stableford and Par/Bogey competitions are qualifying competitions for handicapping purposes (except when otherwise notified).7. A competitor playing in a Medal Competition cannot under any circumstances change or alter his tee- off time on the day of play except on the instruction of the starter i.e. Professional Staff. The starter has the authority to ask a 3-ball to break up to make two games of 2-balls if a member has been left without a playing partner. It will be compulsory that the 3rd name on the sheet will move to accommodate making up two 2-balls. The Council may take action against the members of the 3-ball if the request is not adhered to.8. All scores including NR’s must be entered into the Computer before being placed in the scorecard box.

Gents Saturday and Sunday CompetitionsFor Sweep purposes there will be 3 handicap sections:-1. Competitors with handicaps scratch or better to 72. Competitors with handicaps 8 to 123. Competitors with handicaps 13 to 28

COMPETITIONSThursday MedalsThe Minimum entry shall be 6 players. No four ball matches allowed. Intending competitors should apply via the normal booking method maximum 9 days in advance. Gents Monthly MedalsThe 6 Monthly Medals (Apr – Sept) are being played over 2 days (Friday & Saturday).Members will be able to play either on the Friday or the Saturday in each of these competitions but not in both. Bookings can only be made for one of the days.

Match Play Competitions1. All entrants or substitutes must have a valid handicap on the closure date for entry to the competition.2. There is no challenger. The onus is on both players/teams to arrange the tie.3. The closing dates for each round of the competition are shown clearly at the head of each column on the draw sheet. An attempt must be made by each party to make contact with his opponent within three days of the round opening in order to arrange the tie by mutual agreement. If for whatever reason the tie cannot be arranged within the timescale for the round, then an extension may be sought at this point only. Out with the above timescale, extensions will only be granted in extenuating circumstances and only when a date is intimated by which the tie will be played.4. Ties must be played by the specified date otherwise players/teams will be eliminated from the competition. 5. A partner may only be substituted with the agreement of the Match and Handicap Committee and will only be allowed prior to the first round being played.6. No changes to the name put forward will be allowed after the closing date for a round.7. In the event of a dispute the decision of the Match and Handicap Committee is final.8. It is the responsibility of the winner(s) to ensure their name(s) go forward.9. If a Match finishes all square and it is decided to play sudden death extra holes, from the first tee, the tie has no standing if either a gents or ladies competition is in progress from the first tee. The Players should report to the Pro Shop and wait for the first suitable time.

Extra Rule for the Family Foursomes Match Play.When a match consists of a lady player and a gentleman versus two gentlemen, the lady shall have 3 strokes added to her handicap. Strokes should be taken using the men’s stroke index.

Allowance of StrokesSingle handicap match play will be played on the basis of full difference in handicaps being allowed.Two-ball foursomes match play will be played on the basis of half the difference of the combined handicaps being allowed.

Handicaps1. If a player has no handicap, he must return three cards (over 18 holes) from the Medal Tees, preferable on the day of a Stroke Competition. His handicap shall be fixed by the Club on the basis of these cards.2. In a Medal Competitions, and in all Match Play ties, Competitors will play off their handicap as shown on the Handicap List on the day of play. One exception will be when a player is aware of a score, that has not been administered by the Club that will reduce his handicap. He should adjust his handicap accordingly and utilise the new handicap.

COMPETITIONSMethod of Booking for Competitions and Bounce GamesBooking commences 9 days in advance at 6.45pm for both Competition and Bounce Games. This can be carried out via the online booking system, which is available 24 hours a day, the Computer in the Foyer of the Clubhouse or via the Telephone Booking Line on 01555 662349 between 8.30am and 4.00pm each day.

Late Cancellation/Failure to appear for CompetitionsThe Match & Handicap Committee will monitor late cancellations and failure to appear on a weekly basis. Letters will be sent out to members who regularly make late cancellations. Any repeats following this communication may result in disciplinary action being taken to restrict access to future competitions.Any Member failing to appear for a reserved medal competition tee time will be advised in writing that a repeat offence in the same season will result in them not being able to reserve a tee time for the next two Saturday competitions until the day of play.

SubscriptionA Member whose Subscription remains unpaid after 1 May will be ineligible for all Club Competitions.

LadiesSaturday alternate day competitions not already stated in the Fixture Diary will be listed on the Ladies Notice Board.Sunday Competitions should be booked in the same manner as general play, except where times have been allocated on the time sheet.

Juniors 18 Hole Course: Tee reserved each Thursday from 4.15pm until 4.45pm, the timing will depend on other bookings on the day.Medal Rounds may be played on days of Senior Gents Individual Stroke Play Competitions. Tee Off approximately 3.30pm on a Saturday and 1.37pm on a Sunday.During the season all Stroke Play Competitions will be taken into consideration for the best Scratch Eclectic and best Net Eclectic.

9 Hole CourseThe draw for all Competitions on a Sunday will take place at 12.15pm for a first tee time of 12.30pm.

MEMBERS GUESTS & SOCIAL EVENTS

Members GuestsMembers are entitled to introduce an unlimited number of guests and on each occasion must purchase aprivilege rate ticket for the guest.Associate Members will have the same privileges but will be limited to 8 introductions per year.Junior Members will have the same privileges but will be limited to 6 introductions per year. Juniorguests must be under 18 years of age.The Member must also be a playing partner with the guest during the round and is fully responsible forthe guest’s conduct on the Course and in the Clubhouse.The same guest must not be introduced more than 6 times in total in any one season. (April – March)

Social Events 2018/19All Social events will be advertised on the Club Notice Board, Web Site and emailed to all members with a valid email address.

MEMBERS LIST 2015CONSTITUTION

NAME OF CLUB

1. The Club shall be called ‘LANARK GOLF CLUB’, hereinafter referred to as ‘THE CLUB’ The Club is a non-profit making body dedicated to the supply of sporting services.

MEMBERSHIP2. a) The Membership of the Club shall consist of Adults, who for the purposes of this Constitution shall

be deemed to be persons aged 18 years of age and over as at 1st April, who belong to one or other of the following categories - Ordinary Members, Life Members, Expatriate Members, Country Members, Youth Members, non-Playing Members, Honorary Members, Social Members or Associate Members.

b) The number of Ordinary and Youth Members shall be limited to a total of 600. An Ordinary Member who has attained state retirement age by 31 March in any year and has a minimum of ten years continuous membership shall pay a reduced Annual Subscription fixed for that year in terms of Clause 11.

c) An Expatriate Member is an Adult who has held Ordinary Membership continuously for a period of 5 years immediately prior to being domiciled outside Scotland. The Annual Subscription payable by such Member shall be 50% of the rate of subscription for an Ordinary Member. An Expatriate Member shall be entitled to play in all Club Competitions and shall retain all rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member.

d) A Country Member is an Adult who has held Ordinary Membership continuously for a period of 5 years and who now lives out with a radius of 60 miles from Lanark. The Annual Subscription payable by such Member shall be 50% of the rate of Annual Subscription payable by an Ordinary Member fixed in terms of Clause 11. A Country Member shall retain the full rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member except that they shall not be entitled to play in club match-play competitions and only play in stroke-play competitions for handicap purposes only.

e) A Youth Member is an Adult whose age does not exceed 30 years by 31 March. He or she shall pay a reduced rate of Annual Subscription payable by an Ordinary Member and shall have the full rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member.

f) An Associate member is an Adult with restricted rights and privileges determined by the Council. For the avoidance of doubt an Associate Member will not be permitted to vote at any meeting of the Club or be permitted to stand for Council. Conditions for Associate Membership are set out in clauses 40 and 41 hereof.

g) The Council of Management (hereinafter provided for and hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’) may transfer an Ordinary Member to Non-Playing Membership on written application by such Ordinary Member provided that he or she has held continuous Ordinary Membership for 5 years immediately prior to such application. A Non-Playing Member shall pay a rate of Annual Subscription below that payable by an Ordinary Member fixed in terms of Clause 11 but he or she shall have no playing rights. He or she shall otherwise retain all other rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member. The Council shall have discretion to limit the number of Members to be transferred to Non-Playing Membership.

h) The Council may recommend any Adult for Honorary Membership, who by reason of his or her services to the Club or the game of golf is deemed worthy of the honour, but his or her election must be approved by the Members at a General Meeting. An Honorary Member shall retain all rights and

privileges of an Ordinary Member but shall not pay an Annual Subscription.

i) An Ordinary Member who has attained state retirement age by 31 March in any year and who has attained 40 years unbroken membership of the Club at that date, shall be granted Life Membership. A Life Member shall pay a reduced Annual Subscription fixed for that year in terms of Clause 11. A Life Member shall retain all rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member.

j) A Social member is an Adult with no rights within the Club except the ability to utilise the Bar and Catering.

k) The Council may transfer an Ordinary Member to 9-Hole Course Membership on written application by such Ordinary Member provided that he or she has held continuous Ordinary Membership for 5 years.

A 9-Hole Course Member shall pay a rate of Annual Subscription below that payable by an Ordinary Member fixed in terms of Clause 11 but he or she shall have no playing rights on the 18 Hole Course. He or she shall otherwise retain all other rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member. The Council shall have discretion to limit the number of Members to be transferred to 9-Hole Membership.

3. The Council shall have power to elect Adults, who are or have been Members of a recognised Golf Club, as Temporary Members for a period of not less than one week on their submitting applications to the Secretary in writing. The election of such applicants shall rest with the Council and shall be by ballot, two adverse votes to exclude. The Subscription payable by Temporary Members shall be fixed by the Council.

Visiting Players shall be deemed to be Temporary Day Members of the Club during the day of play only on the purchase and production of a duly dated Green Fee Day Ticket for the 18 hole course; such Temporary Day Members shall be entitled to enjoy the Clubhouse facilities provided that they shall enter their name and address in the Temporary Day Members Register kept for that purpose. Temporary Members shall not be entitled to play in Club competitions, to attend or vote at any meeting of the Club or to have a voice in the management of the affairs of the Club or to have rights or interest in the property of the Club.

4. Any Member may introduce guests by inserting names and addresses of the guests in the Visitors Book and adding his or her own signature. Temporary Members shall not be entitled to introduce guests.

5. a) If the conduct of any Member within the Club, or in public life, is deemed likely, in the opinion of

the Council, to be injurious to the character, interests or good order of the Club, the Council shall be empowered to admonish, suspend (with or without limit of time) or to expel such member but in all cases only after an oral hearing. A decision to expel a Member shall be issued in writing and shall further require to be ratified at a General Meeting of the Club by a majority of those present and voting by ballot. During a period of suspension, the affected Member shall remain liable for Subscription and other Club liabilities but shall forfeit all privileges of Membership.

b) If the conduct of a Council Member within the Club, or in public life, is deemed likely in the opinion of the Honorary President and/or Honorary Vice President to be injurious to the character, interests, reputation or good order of the Club, these office bearers will be empowered to form a sub-committee as they think necessary to establish the facts of the misconduct including examining evidence. This committee will have the power to admonish, suspend (with or without limit of time) or to expel the Council Member but in all cases only after an oral hearing. A decision to expel such a member shall be issued in writing and shall further require to be ratified at a General Meeting of the Club by a majority of those present and voting by ballot.

6. A Member changing address shall intimate the change in writing to the Secretary, and failing such intimation, all Notices sent to the old address shall be held as duly delivered.

ADMISSION OF ORDINARY MEMBERS7. a) All applications for Ordinary Membership must be made on the form and procedure prescribed

by the Council. Such application form shall be signed by two Members to whom the applicant is personally known, as Proposer and Seconder or by two Council Members, following interview, if the applicant is not known by any member. All applications will be lodged with the Secretary, who shall have the same intimated in the Clubhouse for at least 21 days prior to the meeting of the Club Council at which such applications are considered. The Council may require an applicant to lodge with his or her application such sum by way of deposit as has been fixed by the Council.

b) Any Member who has any objection to the admission of an applicant for Membership may, during said period of intimation, lodge his or her objection in writing to the Secretary, who shall submit same to the Club Council at the same time as the relative application is submitted. The Club Council will either admit or refuse to admit the applicant to the Membership by a majority vote.

c) No person whose application has been refused shall be eligible to apply again until the expiry of one year from the date of refusal.

8. After the election of any applicant, the Secretary shall give the person elected notice thereof, in writing, and furnish the Member with a copy of the Constitution. No such Member shall be entitled to the privileges of the Club until his or her Annual Subscription has been paid. These become due immediately after the election of the Member, and if not paid within one month thereafter, the Council may cancel the admission of the Member. In certain circumstances the Council may extend the period of one month to reflect special individual circumstances.

9. Following acceptance to join the Club all Members will be bound by the Constitution and Rules of the Club.

10. Members wishing to resign must intimate their resignation to the Secretary in writing prior to the Annual General Meeting otherwise they shall be held liable for the Annual Subscription for the coming year.

ENTRANCE FEE AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

11. All Entrance Fees and Annual Subscriptions shall be fixed from time to time by the Members at a Meeting of the Club, duly convened. The Subscription will be payable in advance. Any Member wishing to phase the payment of the Entrance Fee will have restricted rights and privileges, determined by the Council, until said Entrance Fee is fully paid. A maximum period of 5 years from the date of joining will be available for phased payment of Entrance Fee.

12. The Financial Year of the Club shall end on 31 December. The Annual Subscription shall be due on 1 April and must be paid not later than 1 May.

13. If any Member fails to pay his or her Subscription on or before 1 May, a 10% surcharge will be added to the Members said Subscription then the Secretary shall intimate that the Subscription is unpaid and if such Subscription is not paid within one week after the date of such intimation, the Council shall have power to remove the name from the roll of Members. He or she shall forfeit all the privileges of Membership but shall remain liable equally with other Members for all the debts and obligations of the Club incurred during his or her Membership. The Council may, if they consider it advisable, on the application of such a Member reinstate him or her upon payment of such sum as the Council may decide.

14. Any person becoming a Member of the Club during the period between 1 January and 31 March in any year shall be regarded as having paid his or her Subscription to 31

March.

15. The Council shall have power to re-admit former Members on such terms and conditions as they may decide, even if by doing so the limit of Ordinary Members as fixed by Clause 2 (b) is exceeded.

THE COUNCIL

16. The Management of the Club shall be vested in the Council, which shall consist of Captain, Vice Captain, Immediate Past Captain, and six other Members to be elected as hereinafter provided.

The Club Manager will undertake the legal obligations and duties of the Club Secretary and Club Treasurer.

The Council shall meet at least every two months to conduct the business of the Club, five members present to form a quorum.

17. The Members may at an Annual General Meeting of the Club elect such persons as they choose to be Honorary President and Honorary Vice President of the Club on such conditions as they may determine but no person elected to either of these offices shall have, by virtue of his or her office, any concern in the Management of the Club, except as specified in section 5(b).

18. The Captain, Vice Captain and Members of the Council shall be elected by the Members at the Annual General Meeting of the Club. The Captain, Vice Captain, Immediate Past Captain shall retire and two Members of the Council shall retire annually in rotation. The two retiring Members of the Council may stand for re-election. Any Member can only complete a maximum of two successive terms on Council and will be ineligible for re-election until the expiry of one year from the date of his or her retiral therefrom.

19. The Council shall have power to fill the vacancies occurring in their number in the course of the year and any Member thus co-opted shall complete the unexpired term of service arising from the vacancy except that in the event of the Member thus co-opted being still in office at the next Annual General Meeting then his or her co-option shall be subject to the approval of the Members at the meeting and if the Members fail to approve his or her co-option then they shall require to nominate another Member to fill the said vacancy. Any co-opted Member due to retire at the next Annual General Meeting shall be eligible for election to the Council notwithstanding the provision of Clause 18

20. Nominations for election of Captain, Vice Captain and Members of the Council must be signed in each case by at least two Members of the Club and lodged with the Secretary not later than 21 days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting. Nominations, as received, shall be posted on the notice board in the Clubhouse. The date of the last day for receiving nominations shall be exhibited on the notice board at least one month before that date.

In the event of the number of nominations of Members for election to the Council intimated in terms of the immediately preceding paragraph, not being sufficient to fill vacancies occurring on the Council, it shall then be competent at the AGM of the Club to nominate other Members for the remaining vacancy or vacancies and for the meeting to elect the necessary number.

21. The Council shall appoint Sub Committees consisting of such numbers that they consider advisable.

Conveners and Members need not necessarily be Members of the Council.

22. The Council, subject to the Constitution, shall have powers necessary for the full and efficient conduct of the affairs of the Club, including the power from time to time of framing Rules and altering or adding to them as they may consider advisable. Any such alteration or addition shall be exhibited on the notice board in the Clubhouse.

CONSTITUTION

All Rules made by them shall be binding on every Member unless set aside or altered at a meeting of the Club.

23. The Council will consider complaints only if made in writing to the Council, and Members must not personally reprimand Club employees or may themselves be subject to disciplinary proceedings.

24. The Treasurer shall receive on behalf of the Club all monies payable to the Club and shall pay all accounts due by the Club, as authorised by the Council, and shall be entitled on behalf of the Club to sue for all sums due to the Club by Members or others on receiving the instructions of the Council to do so.

The Club funds shall be lodged from time to time in the Club’s bank accounts and operations thereon shall be signed by any two of the following - Captain, Vice Captain and Treasurer. The Treasurer shall keep correct records of all the transactions and shall prepare an Annual Statement of Accounts at 31 December each year which shall be audited by two Auditors, neither of whom shall be a Member of the Council.

a) No Office Bearer shall be a relative, business partner or person acting under direction of anyone associated with the Club who receives emoluments based upon the turnover of any aspect of the Club’s activities.

MEETINGS

25. At any Meeting of the Club or the Council, the Captain, and in his or her absence the Vice Captain, shall take the Chair. If neither is present, the Meeting shall elect a Chairman. At any meeting of any Sub-Committee, the Convener shall take the Chair and in his or her absence, the meeting shall elect a Chairman.

26. The Chairman shall have a casting vote, as well as a deliberative vote at any meeting of the Club, of the Council or of a Sub-Committee.

27. The Annual General Meeting of the Club shall be held in the month of March when the audited accounts shall be submitted, the Office Bearers, Members of the Council and Auditors elected and any other competent business transacted.

28. The Council shall have power at any time to call a Special Meeting of the Club and shall be bound to call such a Meeting within 21 days after receiving a written requisition to that effect signed by at least 30 Members of the Club provided the requisition states the nature of the business to be considered. Any meeting so called shall not be entitled to consider or discuss any matters other than those specified in the Notice calling such Special Meeting.

29. At least 10 days notice of any Meeting of the Club shall be intimated to the Members and such notice shall specify the nature of the business to be considered.

30. At all meetings of the Club fifty Members shall form a quorum.

PROPERTY

31. The Council in office shall be entitled to exercise all the rights, powers and privileges competent to the ownership of property, but it shall have no power to sell or otherwise dispose of any heritable property unless such sale or disposal is authorised (by a majority consisting of three-fourths of those voting) at a duly convened Meeting of the Club, the notice of which specified the sale or disposal of such property as an item of business.

32. The property, effects and monies of the Club shall belong to the Members equally among them during Membership, but the right and interest of every Member shall be personal and limited to himself or herself and shall expire with his or her Membership and shall not be assignable or arrestable or pass to his or her heirs or executors.

33. The Club may acquire lands or houses or other property by purchase, feu or lease and may borrow for these purposes or for any other of the purposes of the Club on the security of its heritable or other property by Bond, Standard Security Bill, Debenture or other charge and the Council shall take the necessary steps to have the various authorised transactions carried through.

The title or lease of the Course, Clubhouse Offices and other property belonging to the Club shall be vested in the Captain, Vice Captain, Secretary and Treasurer as Trustees for and on behalf of the Club. Said Officials shall, subject to the directions of the Club, or Club Council, be empowered to grant all obligations on behalf of the Club and its Members in relation to the Club, its property, servants and others. Two of such Officials shall for these purposes form a quorum.

a) No Office Bearer shall rent or lease land to the Club or be a relative, business partner or person acting under direction of a person leasing or renting land to the Club.

LIABILITY OF MEMBERS

34. In the event of the Club being unable to meet its financial obligations, a Special Meeting of the Club duly called for that purpose, will have powers to assess the whole of the Members of the Club for payment of such sums equally as may be considered appropriate for liquidating the obligations of the Club.

a) No profit or surplus shall be distributed other than to another non-profit making body or to members on winding up of dissolution of the Club.

RESTRICTIONS AS TO SALE OF LIQUOR

35. No Member of the Council or of any Sub-Committee and no Manager or servant employed by the Club shall have any personal interest in the sale of excisable liquors therein or in the profits arising from such sale.

36. A visitor shall not be supplied with excisable liquor in the Club premises unless on invitation and in the company of a Member and such Member shall upon the admission of such visitor to the Club premises or immediately upon him or her being supplied with such liquor, enter his or her own name and the name and address of the visitor in the Visitor’s Book which shall be kept for the purpose and which shall show the date of the visit. No excisable liquors shall be sold or supplied to persons who are neither Members nor visitors.

37. No excisable liquors shall be supplied or sold to any person under 18 years of age.

38. Excisable liquor may be sold or supplied in the Clubhouse at such times and under such conditions as may from time to time be determined by the Club Council within the limits prescribed by the Licensing (Scotland) Acts 1959 and 1962 or other similar enactments.

No excisable liquor shall be sold or supplied in the Club premises for consumption off the premises except to a Member of the Club in person for consumption by said member or to a person holding an excise licence for the sale of such liquor.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

39. The Council shall be entitled to enrol any Adult as an Associate Member.

a) The Council may transfer Associate Members to Expatriate Membership, Country Membership, Non-Playing membership and Youth Membership on the same conditions available to Ordinary Members of the Club as set out in clause 2 hereof.

b) Honorary Membership or Life Membership will not be available to Associate Members with the exception of those existing prior to 1st April 2008.

c) The number of Associate Members will be restricted to a number determined by the Club Council from year to year.

d) Associate Members wishing to become Ordinary Members will require to apply for Membership as set out in clause 7 hereof. In such circumstances an entrance fee will require to be paid, being the difference between the entrance fee for Associate Membership and that for Ordinary Membership.

e) Playing Privileges for Associate Members will be determined by the Club Council and may be subject to change from time to time.

40. The procedure for making and considering application for admission of Associate Members shall be that laid down for Ordinary Members subject to any limit in numbers imposed by the Club Council. A separate waiting list from that operated for Ordinary Members will be maintained for applications to become an Associate Member should the demand for Associate Membership exceed the number determined by the Club Council from year to year.

Clauses 4 to 15 shall also apply to Associate Members.

JUNIOR SECTION

41. The Council shall be entitled to enrol as members of the Junior Section persons not over the age of 18 years.

The procedure for making and considering applications for admission of Juniors shall be that laid down for Ordinary Members, subject to any limit in numbers imposed by the Club Council.

Clauses 5 to15 shall also apply to members of the Junior Section.

A Junior on attaining the age of 18 years shall cease to be a Junior and shall thereupon be entitled to become an Ordinary Member or Associate Member of the Club, subject to a qualification of not less than three years membership in the Junior Section.

A Junior with less than three years membership of the Junior Section may be eligible to become a Member of the Club upon payment of an Entrance Fee as fixed by the Club.

42. The conduct of the affairs of the Junior Section shall be at all times under the control of the Club Council or as designated by the Club Council

ALTERATION OF CONSTITUTION

43. No alteration whatsoever shall be made in the foregoing Constitution except at a Meeting of the Club and the Notice calling such Meeting shall state the alteration proposed to be made. No such alteration shall take effect until it is authorised by a majority consisting of two thirds of the Members voting. Any Member wishing to amend the Constitution at an Annual General Meeting is required to submit to the Secretary at least 28 days before the Annual General Meeting the proposed amendment duly seconded by another Member.
