Our levels and curriculumOur curriculum is based on the levelsof the Common European Frameworkof Reference for Languages. CEFRwas put together by the Council ofEurope and is used all over the worldas the standard for grading individualslanguage proficiency.

The CEFR descriptors indicate theproficiency that should be achieved ateach level. The table below includesa summary, and includes comparablelevels of other common standards.

Internationally-recognised exams Cambridge ESOL examinations- among the most widely-recognised English

language qualifications in the world: First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) andProficiency (CPE). All the courses are scheduled to coincide with three of theannual, fixed examination dates worldwide.

IELTS- a high score in the IELTS exam helps with entry to a University in Malta,the UK, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.

TOEFL- a high TOEFL score is the route to entry to many major universities.
