Welcometothe90thsummerseasonoftheLakesideWomen’sClub!Youwillnoticethatour143-year-oldclubhousehasafresherlookthisseason.Neweasy-to-operatewhitelouveredblindsprovideanevenbetterviewofCentralParkandLakeErie,andtheylookgreatfrom

theoutside,too.Lastfall,Lakesidetookcareofexteriorandinteriorrepairworkandhadtheoutsidepainted,whilewehiredapaintertobrightentheEleanorDurrroom.Therearemanytothankforallthis,andyou’llhearthedetailsasthe

summerprogresses.Also,we’vebeeninvitedtobeahostduringtheLakesideSymphonyCandlelightShowcaseonAugust9.AnotherincentivetomakeGreenGablesasbeautifulandwelcomingaspossiblewhilecontinuingtofunctionasoneofthebusiestspacesinallofLakeside!I’msogladyouchosetobeapartoftheLWC!
