An all-season destination, the Lakes Region is home to 70,000 acres of pristine waterways surrounded by mountains, woods, farmlands, quiet villages and busy resort towns. • Stand Up Paddleboards are required to have a life jacket on board . Anyone under the age of 13 must be wearing it .

• For individuals 13 years old and older that are not wearing life jackets, they must be “Readily Accessible”, which is defined as within arms reach .

• Vessels 16’ and greater must have a type IV (US Coast Guard throwable device, IE . square cushion with straps, or throw ring) IN ADDITION to a wearable life jacket for each person on board .
