Description:An insperational montage made by the blending of two or more images, and the use of typography.

Objectives:Utilize Photoshop layersBlend images together smoothly, using masks.Use filters.Add typography
Process: I began with a picture of the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taken from the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and a picture of a Christus statue from the Washington, DC Temple Visitor ’s Center for the same church. I masked the Christus statue and brought it to a new layer on the Temple picture in Photoshop. I further masked it to make it appear as though the statue is behind the Temple. I added the quote using fonts found at DaFont.com.

GIRL’S NIGHT OUT
Frosting & Lace Cupcakes Emily Durant is a 5 year-old girl with Stage IV Nephroblastoma. She’s also one of our favorite customers. We’re sponsoring a benefit in her honor to aid her family with hospital bills - a night of gourmet cupcakes with friends. We will offer a frostings bar, so you can decorate your own and we will post pictures on our new “Friends of Emily Wall”. All proceeds go to Emily’s family and for each person that comes out, we’ll donate a free cupcake to Emily as she undergoes treatment.
