Jim Wa g n er / “La bor Da y” After a hometown parade had gone through his neighborhood, Jim looked at the debris left behind and found a small tattered American Flag. He presents the two Americas struggling to survive: the middle-class American with all the tradition that he grew up with and the urban America that continues to struggle and to find their voice in our county. Jim Wagner, is a contemporary artist whose works explore current is-sues: dealing with his mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s, corporate greed, inner city struggles and his most recent works depict the disas-trous oil spill……..
