LA STAMPA was founded in 1986 with the aim of designing, producing and selling women’s clothes in a wide range of sizes, in order to satisfy our target customer – today’s working woman.

We recognize that in the real world women are not top models, but deserve to be treated with the same respect and commitment to detail as if they were.

Elegance, comfort and soft materials are the rules which govern LA STAMPA’s success. Our goal is to meet the fashion requirements of women, throughout their working day and on into the evening.

LA STAMPA’s team of designers have identified a gap in the market, and proceeded to fill that gap with a unique concept. This concept fulfils the needs of not only the Greek population of working women, but the international one as well. What makes the LA STAMPA brand stand out above the rest is our success in creating a unique style exactly for our target market.

We design and produce clothes which can highlight the femininity and the style of our customer, no matter the size nor the shape of her body. This was our vision and we continue to pursue that.

Dedication to this vision has brought us to the top of the market for Southern Europe and our brand is one of the most respected in the region.

Our 25 years in the fashion market have proved a strong foundation for the creation of a powerful network throughout Greece and now we are ready to expand abroad with confidence in our products and designs.

All our products are made in Greece. We insist on this because in this way we can guarantee quality. In Greece we have an excellent family tradition of fine quality production.

LA STAMPA operates just like a family. We never forget quality comes first and we make sure every item is handmade and quality tested. This value driven approach reflects our value-for-money philosophy, which underpins the design of our products. We believe in values and we strongly promote them within the com-pany.

As part of the philosophy which distinguishes our style and the quality of our products, LA STAMPA has invested considerable capital in boosting design department and also in increasing our use of state of the art technology. This has resulted in a strong product base as well as flexibility in production.

Our Business Plan at LA STAMPA for the next five years is to promote growth and to increase sales by developing our wholesale network in Greece, to open more retail stores and to expand abroad. In addition to this, we shall be increasing our product range to include an exciting array of accessories to compliment the LA STAMPA brand.

At LA STAMPA we design, produce and distribute high fashion women garments, aimed specifically at the working woman, who demands both style and comfort.

Our target customer has earned her place in society and her professional standards require her to look elegant and well-dressed. She knows very well what she wants from LA STAMPA: she wants fashion that makes her feel confident, attractive, comfortable and trendy her way. That is our promise and that is what we provide.

And we know that we have to deal with a variety of shapes and sizes.

We consider fashion an expression. Fashion trends are applied to stylistic needs of LA STAMPA woman with the strictest quality specifications. From the style, to the cut, the fabrics, the stitching and the accessories, they are all worked and reworked to their minutest details.

Our clothes are comfortable, elegant, practical, easy to wear daily and good value for money.

In every collection we present outfits for all hours, with cutting edge design.

It was the risk we took in the beginning and has been consistently paying off.

LA STAMPA network covers a big gap in the women’s fashion market.

We gave the answer to “the horror stories” of women trying to find clothes, all over the world, that were above 3 or 4 (L&XL). We connect with women of every age and every shape, who want to have their own style, without restrictions on comfort or easy to wear. This is exactly what they did not find in the other high street brands where clothes go up to size 2.

LA STAMPA identified this gap and build around the needs of women today to the point where it now dominates this section of the market.

Women today demand that fashion fits them.

They are not interested in making their shape fit someone else’s idea. Before, women of larger sizes were faced with unfashionable, shapeless products of indifferent quality. They bought them out of necessity rather than choice, in a market which completely overlooked this valuable customer.

LA STAMPA came to cover this very important gap in the Greek market, and is now the leader, not only on the level of the design and the quality materials, but on the level of the “image” as well. We believe that we are now primed to cover the same gap which exists in the wider, global market.
