We can tell you a lot of stories and legends from la Palma, but we don’t have so much time so we can explain the most famous and usual from La Palma. It’s called “El alma de Tacande”. In a neighborhood, in the 1628 there was a house, an enchanted house. In this house lived the ghost of a woman who died when she was had a baby. People tell that they heard a woman singing to his baby, but when they come to the house, they didn’t saw anything. They called to a priest because they were so scared, they thought the house was cursed, and yes, they were right.

When the priest came, he tried to talk with the ghost, and he did, the ghost received him and she started to talk with him. She was taken by a bad spirit and when the saint man released her, she was able to tell him who she was. Her name was Ana González and she tell what we know now, she died when she was having her baby. She ask him to talk with all her family and when she was in peace with all her family and with herself, she was ready to pass to the other life. From that day to today, we all in la Palma are visiting that old house that is still on, trying to listen Ana González singing to his little baby.
