Assist in recruitment for new peer mentors in the office as well as during academic career fairs. Took part in group interviewing to determine the best applicants for new peer mentors for upcoming semesters. Take lead in New Student Orientation, compiling data of new entry and transfer students. Project manager within office, making sure all tasks are being done by employees, assisting and ensuring

completion of newly assigned tasks that are by overseeing all peer mentor workers in the office. Staff meetings with peer mentors to discuss overall student achievement and how to make additional improvements

in student retention, which have been successful from increasing retention rates from 68.8% to 73.5% in 2014. Learned how to work in a professional team structure, showing leadership skills on different tasks that needed to be

done around the office, along with presenting speeches through PowerPoint workshop presentations to Purdue University Calumet students pertaining to study groups, meeting with professors, time management, and goals.

Severed as a mentor and supplemental instructor, providing guidance in Purdue Calumet’s general education course. Worked and obtained quantitative data skills pertaining to confidential student information by being certified in

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Data and Security Handling, and other security standards, with numbers regarding attendance of events, GPA's, and retention rates using innovative higher education technology such as Education Advisory Board, Blackboard Learn, Degree Works and Advisory Query.
