Kuwait Weekly Update Research Market Performance: The Kuwaiti market closed on a negative note this week The Price index was down -2.3%, closing at 6,193.82 points. The Weighted index lost -1.22%, closing at 404.70. Liquidity levels increased marginal [+3%] during the week. The market traded 1.52bn shares with a value of KWD 120.3mn. Sector Performance Financial Services continues to be the top traded sector this week as well, contributing to 34.2% of the total traded value. Real Estate and Banks followed with 19.1% and 16.9% contributions. Gulf Finance House, closed flat during the week, was the top traded stock with trading value of KWD 14.8mn. Loser, winners 150 companies were traded during the week out of which 36 closed positive, 106 were negative and 8 unchanged. Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing and Trading Co was the biggest gainer, increasing 45.1% during the week and closing at 132 fils. On the other side of the spectrum, Securities Group was the biggest loser, with the stock shedding 28.2% to 122 fils. Market Performance:

The Kuwaiti market closed on a negative note this week The Price index was down -2.3%, closing at 6,193.82 points. The Weighted index lost -1.22%, closing

at 404.70. Liquidity levels increased marginal [+3%] during the week. The

market traded 1.52bn shares with a value of KWD 120.3mn.
