Bay Shore Library Sponsors Frank Glaser Piano Recital The Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library will sponsor a Lecture Recital by American pianist , Frank Glazer , on Jan. 30 8:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist High School on Montauk Highway. Tickets for the recital , which is the second production in the Libra ry ' s Performing Arts Series, are $2 50 for adults and $1 50 for students Mr Glazer 's subject for the January 30 Lecture Recital will be a comparative study of Beethoven 's Piano Sonatas: "The Pathetique , " "Moonlight ," and "Appassionata " Frank Glazer . presently Professor of Piano at Eastman School of Music , began to play the piano at the age of 4 At 17 he was accepted as a piano student by ArturSchnabel in Berlin At 21 he made his Town Hall debut. It is im- portant for you to learn to identify each type so that you understand which fabrics dryc l ea n satisfactorily and which ones may cause customer complaints, ex- plained the National Institute of Drycleaning A true double-cloth is a fabric made of double cloth weave This weave uses more than one set of warp filling yarns It may produce a fabric with two distinct faces or colors or it may produce two distinct fabrics held together by an extra set of yarns. For example , a satin or an ot- toman may be black on the face and gold , rose or any other color on the reverse or underside of the fabric. The fa bric is reversible. One or both sides may be used in designing a garment. A true double cloth is made of two fa brics held together by an extra set of yams. If you pull the two fabrics apart you can see the extra set of yartis. The fabrics made of double-weave dryclea n satisfactory. Double-faced fabrics are made by taking two face fabrics and binding them together with an adhesive. It is possible to create many different fabrics by this method of construction. Many of the double-faced fabrics will dryclean satisfactorily. Some will cause customer complaints because of partial separation . If you pull the two fabrics apart at the seam , you can see the adhesive that hold the two fabrics together in a double-faced construction.
