Thisviewshowsallconnecteddevices,connectedviausborremotely,andtheirrespectivechannels.Youcanaccessseveralactionsthroughthecontextmenu,suchaslocatingaspecificdevice.
Locatingadevice
Right-clickonadeviceandselectLocateHardware(FlashLEDs).ThiswillcausethedevicetoflashitsLEDsforacoupleofseconds.
Configureadevice
Deviceswitheditableconfigurations,memoratorsandremotedevices,canbeopenedwiththeirrespectiveconfigurationtool.RightclickonadeviceorchannelandchooseConfigureRemoteorConfigureMemorator.ConfigureRemotewilllaunchKvaserRemoteDeviceConfiguration.ConfigureMemoratorwilleitherlaunchKvaserMemoratorConfigToolorKvaserMemoratorTools,dependingonwhattypeofmemoratoristobeconfigured.ClickingonPairviaWi-FiwilllaunchtheKvaserWi-FiPairingToolwhereonecanpairawirelessKvaserdevicewithaPCinasimplemanner.
HardwareProblems
Ifthereisayellowexclamationmarkinthedeviceicon(seebelow)thedeviceisnotworkingproperly.Thiscanhappenforanumberofreasons.Byclickingthedeviceadescriptionoftheproblemwillappeartotheright.AnotherplacetolookwhatwentwrongmightbeontheDiagnosticssection.

ThepatentedKvaserMagiSynctechnologyprovidessynchronizationbetweendevicessupportingKvaserMagiSync.Thesynchronizedhardwarewillsharethesameclock.ForthistoworkthedeviceswillhavetobeinthesameKvaserMagiSyncGroup(thatis,theymustbeconnectedtothesameUSBroothub).Iftheyarenottheywillnotbesynchronized.ThetreeviewtotheleftwillshowwhichKvaserMagiSyncGroupthedevicesbelongto.
AneasywaytolocatethehardwareinaKvaserMagiSyncGroupistorightclickonagroupandselectLocateHardware.ThiswillcausethedevicesinagrouptoflashtheirLEDsforacoupleofseconds.Tolocateasingledevice,clickonthedeviceandselectLocateHardware.
Note:inWindows98,thedetectionofthedifferentMagiSyncgroupsdoesnotworkduetoalimitationinWindows98.ThedetectiondoesworkinWindows98SecondEdition.

Byclickingadeviceinthetreeviewsomedeviceinformationwillbedisplayedtotheright.
USBSpeedshowswhetherthedeviceisrunninginUSBFullSpeed(12Mbit/s)orUSBHiSpeed(480Mbit/s).
USBControllerIddisplaysahexadecimalnumberwhichisthe"signature"oftheUSBroothub.AlldevicesinaKvaserMagiSyncgroupmustbeconnectedtothesameroothub.MagiSyncis"Running"ifKvaserMagiSyncisrunningontheselectedchannel.MaxDeviation,MinDeviationandCurrentDeviationdisplayssomemeasurementstatisticsaboutKvaserMagiSync.
