Home sweet home

I am going to tell about Kuwait houses. Every house has a garden to park your car. They also build their houses with bricks and mud.

Yummy, yummy!

Mmmmm…what is that smell? It is food from Kuwait! There are lots of different kinds of food in Kuwait. Let me tell you about some of them. We have yellow and red rice, eaten with potatoes and yoghurt. It is hot and crunchy. Mmmm…if you want it, you have to go to Kuwait. I’ll tell you about another dish. We also eat mashama. It has spaghetti inside with tomato sauce. It has spaghetti with no sauce on top. Can you taste it?

Have you learned more about Kuwait? Do you want to visit my favorite country? I hope you do!

Kuwait people celebrate Eid. In Eid adults give money to the children so we can buy toys and clothes. We play a lot of games. Kuwait people also celebrate Kuwait International Day. In this day we wear dresses and dance. I almost forgot we also celebrate Ramadan. We buy lanterns to hold that night and we also give poor people money.

Fashion

Allow me tell you about Kuwait fashion. The children wear usual clothes but if there is a party or celebration, the children wear traditional clothes. The boys wear a dress called dishdasha. The older boys wear pants and shirts. Older women wear long colorful clothes. Moms wear modern clothes but they have to cover their hair.
