Drinking tea directly after each meal in Kurdish culture, for example, is a habit that came from our ancestors. If you happen to see a Kurdish person suffering from headache just offer them a cup of tea. They will not forget the favor for the rest of their lives.

There are many things that the people in villages do , for example they actually don’t like buying things they make every thing themselves , they are independent.

This Kurdish woman is milking her goats before returning them to her village. Kurdish women work side by side with men. They are hard working, real free, and open in their society. When they go to farms or take care of their life stocks, they wear Kurdish men's baggy pants to give them more comfort and flexibility. It is another way to show their hard work and equality with men.

The famous Kurdish writer and poet Piramerd (1867–1950) writes :in his 1948 poem NewrozThe New Year's day is today. Newroz is back.
An ancient Kurdish festival, with joy and verdure.
For many years, the flower of our hopes was
downtrodden
The fresh rose of spring was the blood of the youth
It was that red color on the high horizon of Kurd
Which was carrying the happy tidings of dawn to
remote and near nations
![Page 18: Kurdish culture and (Language)](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022081413/546feba4af795913098b45c2/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
It was Newroz which imbued the hearts with such a fire
That made the youth receive death with devoted love
Hooray! The sun is shining from the high mountains of homeland
It is the blood of our martyrs which the horizon reflects
It has never happened in the history of any nation
To have the breasts of girls as shields against bullets
Nay. It is not worth crying and mourning for the martyrs of homeland
They die not. They live on in the heart of the nation.

Through our presentation we discussed a little about Kurdish language and culture because they are like oceans and we have discussed about only a drop in that ocean. as we learned from the example of the rose and the lady that stays forever ,culture is immortal and will stay as it is and will never change, because it reminds us the past and expects the future of our nation.
