    & NEW ZEALAND SAMPLE TEST ENGLISH (ONLINE)

    The success of students studying Kumon is directly related to the skills of the

    Instructor in both the instruction and content of the Kumon English Programme.

    This test is designed for candidates to assess their basic English proficiency before

    sitting the actual test during the recruitment process.

    There are 10 questions in this sample test. Please note that the actual test may

    contain essay type questions which have been omitted here.

    Scores indicate the following:

    9 or 10 You have very strong English skills. You could be a potential Kumon Franchisee if you meet the other successful attributes during the recruitment process as well.

    7 or 8 You have good English skills. You could be a potential Kumon Franchisee if you meet the other successful attributes during the recruitment process as well.

    5 or 6 You are proficient in English however; further practice could be beneficial before sitting the actual tests during the recruitment process.

    Below 4 All candidates are required to possess a basic level of English skills to be successful as a Kumon Franchisee. Please attend an Information Meeting to find out more about what topics are covered in the test to help you practice a little more.
