"The DoGooders League gives us the opportunity to visit many United Way funded agencies. Without it, many of us would not be aware of the immense volunteering opportunities available. The league has truly opened our eyes and inspired many of us to continue to work with these agencies long-term." - Cari Ramsey (FCSSC)
"It helps out my family of five girls tremendously. It helps keep my daughters' little feet warm which is very important to me as a mom. They can get out and do activities in the snow without a worry."— London mom

"As Canadians, giving back and creating positive change within our communities is just as much part of our DNA as hockey and Tim Horton's. We are known on the global stage for our friendliness and generosity and it's because we know the benefits that a hand up can have. Volunteering benefits our society by promoting trust, unity and creating a feeling of togetherness and possibility. GenNext affords me the opportunity to have a positive impact in my local community with the ability to support various United Way funded agencies and encourage others to follow suit."- Carlos Marques, TD Bank
This year, GenNext launched our first ever Signature Event, Square Peg, Round Hole! With 140 individuals in attendance, this event generated over $7,500 for the United Way Community Fund to support individuals and families living with issues related to mental health. This event brought awareness to traditionally taboo topics - mental health, vulnerability and addictions. It was a huge success and we are ecstatic to make Square Peg Round Hole an annual GenNext tradition!

The 2017 Mental Health Mix N' Learn series launched at Vanier Children's services. GenNexters participated in an eye-opening and crucial discussion about mental health challenges facing local youth and how we can all work to reduce the stigma and further develop critical programs.
Our social media campaign encouraged daily deeds of do-gooding during the festive season!
Are you an INFORMED CHAMPION or a PASSIONATE PROMOTER?GenNexters joined forces with the Poverty Over London campaign to challenge assumptions about poverty and build a better future for our neighbours.
