KUDOS to Members 31 Issue 1 8 | July - August 2015 Dr A K Balyan to Head Reliance Group’s Oil & Gas Business Dr Ashok Kumar Balyan has been appointed as the Head of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group as CEO of the Oil & Gas Business of the company. After spending decades with public sector giant ONGC followed by a strong stint in Petronet LNG, Dr Ashok Kumar Balyan has now joined the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group. He comes with a strong forte in the areas of business development and human resources and has served in areas as diverse as R&D, drilling, Project Management monitoring of exploration activities, developing long term perspective plan, Corporate Affairs etc. Dr A K Balyan has been an integral part of NHRDN initiatives and sessions and his zeal and effervescence is unparalleled. We wish him all success in his new assignment! Ms Kannika Sagar appointed as HCL Infosystems Chief People Officer HCL Infosystems, India’s premier IT Services & Distribution Company, announced the appointment of Ms Kannika Sagar as its Chief People Officer. At HCL Infosystems, Kannika would lead the People Strategy and its execution as the company builds further momentum on its Transformation pillars. In a global career spanning over two decades across Technology, FMCG and Consulting, she brings with her a multi-dimensional people perspective. We wish her all the very best in her new assignment. Sushil Joshi to be CHRO GMR - DIAL Mr Sushil Joshi Head HR(Sales & Mktg) of Tata Motors will be joining GMR- DIAL as the CHRO. He has over 26years of a multi-sector experience including Automobile, Telecom, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Media & Engineering sectors in companies like Tata Motors, Nokia, Eicher, Amway India, Lupin Labs, Bennett Coleman & CIMMCO Birla. He comes with a keen sense of understanding and design of business specific HR solutions, strategic people capability building. NHRDN wishes him all the best in his new endeavour.
