1.1 OVERVIEW KUDA Master Plan 2041 Mobile Application is developed to facilitate the objections and suggestions to the Kakatiya (Warangal) Development Area Master Plan notified by Kakatiya Urban Development Authority exercising the power conferred under Section 6 of Telangana Urban Areas (Development) Act 1975. It is aimed at enabling all the citizens of the development area to understand and participate in the Process of master plan preparation and assisting the Development Authority in finalizing the Plan.

1.1.1 Availability The mobile Application is available as a free app on Android and iOS platforms and can be searched by name “KUDA Master Plan 2041” and can be downloaded from the respective app store. It can be also downloaded through link provided at the Development Authority’s web site www.kuda.in.

1.3 APPLICATIONS’ FEATURES The Application is 3 tabbed app, 1 menu tab and 2 other tabs in the lower panel of the Home screen.

1.3.1 Menu TAB

a) Email option leads to KUDA Master Plan Gmail Account kudamasterplan@gmail.com, to which anybody put an email regarding the Master Plan.

b) Website option leads to Official KUDA website www.kuda.in, containing the links to Master Plan Map and Online Objections and Suggestions form.

c) About Tab states the notification of Master plan by the Authority inviting objections and suggestions. It further declares a citizen/landholder providing and request for consideration of his/her objection/suggestions.

d) It also introduces a brief note on the Master Plan 2041

1.3.2 New TAB

Disclaimer

To proceed further the disclaimer stating the notification of the plan and the Declaration of the user has to be agreed upon. This leads directly to the interface ready to record objection and suggestions.

1.3.3 Draft TAB This tab leads to any saved objection and suggestion in the app and the user can complete the process and submit the same.

1.4 RECORDING OBJECTION AND SUGGESTIONS

Recording objection suggestion is a 3 step process

1.4.1 Identifying location

Step 1: The App interface opens with a satellite imagery of the Development Area. Option to Search nearest land marks is provided at the top right corner, followed by home which resets the interface to the beginning. The location option identifies the user’s location on the map. The user can zoom into the map and refine the location.

The Proposed land use features take time to load onto the interface, hence the users are requested to wait for them to load.

Step 2: An indicative tab in meters (m) on the left bottom corner shows the accuracy of the location marker. While using the location feature, the user is requested to wait till the accuracy tab turns green, which means the accuracy of the location, is correctly captured subjected to a range of deviation as indicated in the tab.

Next option on the bottom of the screen leads to next section of the process and the location as indicated on the map as well in the co-ordinates is registered for the particular Objection/Suggestion.

1.4.2 Uploading Required Documents In this section of the users are asked to upload any supporting documents justifying objection or suggestion being made at the particular location. The user can either capture a picture of such documents through the camera option or upload any document from the device’s albums.

The uploaded documents are received at the online drive of kudamasterplan@gmail.com and are accessible only at the discretion of the Authority, avoiding any disclosure of the documents to others.

1.4.3 Filling the Objections Suggestion Form

The users are requested to fill out the form of the objections/suggestion for registering their objection or suggestion respectively. The Red asterisk (*) marked fields are mandatory for a successful completion of the form.

The option is provided to the user to either submit the filled objection or save it for later. This saved form features in the drafts tab at the home screen upon closing and opening the app again.

1.4.4 Successful Submission of the Form Once submitted the following message Appears on the screen and it implies that the form has been successfully submitted to the Kakatiya urban Development Authority and the Authority would consider the same while finalizing the Master Plan 2041.

The App returns to the home page after submission.
