  • 1) 1920 - 1950 :The Early Days Of Indian CinemaThe time between 1920 to 1950 is known as the early days of Indian Cinema history. In the 1920s a lot of silent films were released such as Sawkari Pash, Shakuntala, Guna Sundari The first talkie film was released in 1931 which was named as Alam Ara.

  • 2) 1950 - 1960 :A Golden Age Of Indian CinemaIndian cinema moved one step further with the release of K Asif's Mughal-e-Azam in 1960.Aravindan, Satyajit Ray, Shaji Karun and several other art film directors were making movies that took India to international fame and glory.
