Worked on BTS Performance Testing as described below:- BS RF Performance of NSN 2G BTSs (Flexi EDGE and

MultiRadio) KPI performance of NSN 2G BTSs. GPRS EDGE Performance for Flexi EDGE/Multiradio BTS. Travelled to UK for 3 months to learn BTS Receiver RF

Performance Testing (based on 3GPP spec 51.021). Worked in many communication areas which include Signalling,

Transmission, Call relates aspects, O&M, Synchronization and NetAct. Worked on many testing tools, equipments & softwares.

My role in the projects can be summarized as

Leading a team of 5 persons for RF & KPI performance of NSN BTS.

Feature test requirements collection, analysis and reviews. Defining test strategies, test plans, test case design. Responsible for test setups and creating customer

configurations. Review of the test plans and rising defects as feedback. Identification of various tools needed for system integration and

verification testing. Executing test case and providing test status reports. Co-ordination with developers to rectify the problems and

provide support to them. Intercation with customers (NSN) for better understanding of

requirements & documents/reports approval.

Description This team is responsible for testing final performance aspects of a NSN BTS SW releases. The different BTS performance aspects being measured are KPI, Stability, Capacity, EDGE & RF Performance.

Role My contribution in this project is to do RF Performance Testing for 2UD Non-OSC & OSC channels. As this is being done first time in India Lab, I am responsible of all activities related to it. The major activities include making plans/schedule for RF performance testing of all Major BTS SW releases, creating RF Rig for set-up, executing test cases using Automation Tool, analysis of results etc.Also looking into VAMOS (3GPP Rel9) feature RF testing strategy & requirements.I was involved in KPI/EDGE performance of Flexi Multiradio BTS, analysis of results & debugging the issues.

Description Flexi MultiRadio is a new BTS product for GSM/EDGE, WCDMA and LTE networks. It is a true multiradio/multicarrier BTS that can use all these network technologies. It provides a smooth evolution path from 2G to 3G and LTE.

Also I have given training to new joinees on O&M functionality of BTS and Call control (Call control and user plane) with message details between mobiles, BTS and BSC.
