KrokodilA Dangerous DrugKrokodil

Krokodil is a cheaply made synthetic morphine made from codeine, mixed with other substances such as iodine. Krokodil was first synthesized in the United States in 1932 and patented on November 13, 1934. Countries started banning this drug around 2000 when more research was done. Withdrawal SymptomsWithdrawal from Krokodil can last up to a month, and the symptoms include: insomnia, nausea, diarrhea, extreme muscle cramping, depression, seizures, aches, and overall sickness.

EffectsOne of the side effects of Krokodil would be that it dries out the skin around the injection area, which wouldnt be so bad, except the toxic chemicals inside Krokodil eat away the skin.

On the StreetsKrokodil is the street name, but desomorphine is the medical term for this drug.

In the LabsKrokodil is a drug in a liquid form, and it is injected into the body. Much like morphine, Krokodil is a pain reliever, but eight to ten times more effective, far more addictive, and infinitely more harmful. Krokodil is a opioid, sedative, and a stimulant.
