OverviewKrishi Greentech Pvt. Ltd. [KGPL] was started by a first generation technopreneur in the year

1993 as Krishi Irrigation systems at holy town of Tirupati. In last twenty years, KGPL has

installed Micro Irrigation Systems in thousands of hectare for a variety of crops, created

numerous Farm Ponds and has installed Landscape Irrigation Systems in prestigious locations.

To harness the inherent knowledge base & technical human resource pool, KGPL has embarked

on expansion and is in process of taking the organization to the next level of professionalism and

converting itself into a true corporate.

PhilosophyAs the name suggests, KGPL adopted Water Conservation / Micro Irrigation as core business

due to its concern for Water and its availability & usage. In India 85% of the available water is

used for Agriculture sector. The GRACE (Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment) mission

conducted a study of water scenario in India through their satellites and found that over the six-

year timeframe of the study, about 109 cubic kilometres of water was depleted from this region -

more than double the capacity of India's largest reservoir is gone between 2002 and 2008, due to

over-exploitation of groundwater by farmers. We being a company promoted by qualified

Agricultural Engineers, it is all the more important for us to contribute to the cause while doing

With increasing awareness about Water Conservation, Govt. of India is promoting construction

of Farm Ponds to store run-off water and water from low-yielding borewells for irrigation at later

stages. These ponds are lined with HDPE / LDPE Film [Liners] to prevent seepage of water into

earth. We have expertise to offer end-to-end solution in this field and are executing Govt. of A.P.

projects.

With growing demand for man-made landscapes, the requirements for water-efficient Landscape

Irrigation Systems has grown many folds. With excellent technical expertise available in-house,

it was natural for KGPL to foray into Landscape Irrigation few years back. As a backward

integration, KGPL has started taking up turnkey projects for landscaping and offers end-to-end

solution from landscape architectural design, supply & planting of material, supply, erection &

Farm Pond Development

We also take up Farm Pond Development for small and large farms for harnessing the rain-water potential and storage of water from run-off and from low-yield borewells for summer / off-season usage. We have had the opportunity to associate with prestigious ICAR Institute CRIDA, Santhoshnagar, Hyderabad. We have suitable manpower & machinery for laying and fixing HDPE Geo-membrane and design and execute the projects with use the best of lining material from reputed manufacturers.

We have been recently mandated by A.P. S. C. Rural Irrigation Corporation Limited, Hyderabad for Farm Pond Works including excavation, pond-lining, fencing and sand filtration on turnkey basis. We are the only company which has achieved the distinction of executing Farm Pond Construction on Turnkey basis. DUST SUPPRESSION SOLUTIONS

Overview

Dust is a general name for solid particles with diameters less than 20 thou (500 micrometres). Particles in the atmosphere arise from various sources such as soil dust lifted up by wind, volcanic eruptions and pollution. Dust in homes, offices, ports, rail yards and other human environments contains human skin cells, small amounts of plant pollen, human and animal hairs, textile fibres, paper fibres, minerals from mines / outdoor soil, and many other materials which may be found in the local environment.

Dust is considered an irritant and an occupational hazard by a number of occupational safety organizations around the world. More than just a nuisance, dust is a pervasive problem. It can impair the most sophisticated equipment and technology.

In fact D.I.E.S.E.L. stands for Dirt In Engine Shortens Engine Life. It undermines the health of people, machines and the environment. Uncontrolled, dust can violate mandatory compliance levels. If a person has to work around any kind of dust for extended periods of time, many safety experts suggest using a filtered mask over one’s mouth and nose and taking a number of breaks in a fresh air environment, which is not feasible considering logistic and productivity issues.

Problem & Solution

Typically in ports and mines, where large volumes of bulk of coal, iron ore, cement is loaded / unloaded, the atmosphere is filled with dust emanating form operations. It causes numerous health problems for the port personnel & miners working in such environment. This has direct bearing on productivity and profitability, in addition to creating health problems for personnel

working in the area. KGPL gives you an effective, durable method of dust control, surface stabilization and water reduction for an extremely economical overall cost. KGPL delivers optimum benefits for the lowest overall cost due to the need for fewer re-applications. KGPL in association with Vedant Enviro-Agro & Irrigation Tech (P) Ltd., Nagpur offers a dust suppression system comprising of Rain Gun from SIME of Italy for small areas. Our model Vedant-SKIPPER with sealed bearing is being used for this application by many industries. It has unique gear-drive with turbine dispensing technology for fine droplet size. The rotation speed does not get affected by wind velocity due to gear-drive arrangement.

For large area applications, we use Water Cannons manufactured by WLP S.r.l. of Italy. These machines can be mounted on a pole, pillar, wall or can be mounted on trailer for mobile usage. These Water Cannons are capable of a throw distance of 60 to 70 Metres with a droplet size of 30 Micron to 150 Micron, depending upon pressure at machine inlet. We take up these projects on EPC basis and offer end-to-end solution.

KGPL takes up assignment on turn-key / design-to-delivery basis and assists the client on consulting part also, if required. For dust suppression system, we generally require inlet water pressure of 4 to 5 kgs/cm2 to the Rain Gun(s) and 10 to 15 kgs/cm2 for Water Cannon to get very fine droplet size. Each Rain Gun will have three nozzles of sizes 12mm, 14mm 16mm. It can cover the height of about 5 to 6 metres. with 1.5 mtrs riser height positioning. Similarly, Water Cannon has three crowns of nozzles delivering 5, 10 & 15 GPH and can be mounted any structure or can be mobile on trailer / truck.

Vedant are sole concessionaire of world famous SIME Italian Rainguns for India and part of south Asia and have been supplying these Rainguns under Vedant-Skipper and Vedant-Mariner models since last 10 years. Rainguns for Dust suppression use has special sealed bearings with turbine drive to choke the dust. Unlike impact sprinkler the rotation of the gun is through turbine-driven gear train, hence the high wind velocity has no effect on the rotation, which maintains high application uniformity over the area.
