Given a diesel engine output of 90 % MCR and allowing for a constant supply of the board network during sea operation and 15 % sea margin, the vessel’s service speed at 4,70 m draught will amount to 18 kn. The speed will, according to Yard’s choice, be measured by means of GPS or a measured mile during the trial trip, a wind force of below 2 Beaufort scale, calm, deep, wide currentless water and a smooth hull provided.

Delivery Documents and Certificates: All relevant plans and calculations will be submitted on delivery of the vessel; extent of documents in agreement with the Owners. 1000 HULL

The hull will be made of shipbuilding steel according to the regulations of the classification society. The hull will be completely welded. All welds within tanks, engine room and open decks will be continuous. Chain intermittent welding will be applied in dry rooms and within superstructures. Welds of main structures will be x-rayed in accordance with the regulations of the classification society and in consultation with the classification surveyor. Welding and mounting procedures as well as work tolerances according to the "Fertigungsstandard der Deutschen Schiffbauindustrie".

1100 Details

Double bottom in engine room with floor plates at every frame.

1120 Shell Plating

Dimensions of shell plating according to the regulations of the classification society with strengthenings in way of penetrations and shell openings where required. Horizontal construction with frames and stringers in compliance with the regulations of the classification society.

1130 Decks

Welded decks with longitudinal frames and transverse girders. Fore and aft body in transverse frame construction.

1150 Fore Body

Raked stem made of bent plates, lower area of round or flat steel. Full bottom plates at every frame. 2 self-stowing chain lockers of sufficient size for anchor chains, with bilge well covered by perforated plate. Discharge of chain lockers via ejector. Hawse washing will be provided.

1160 Aft Body

Aft stem in welded steel construction; shaped so as to minimize propeller-induced vibratons. Horizontal construction, full bottom plates at every frame. Transom with vertical stiffening.

1170 Hull Appendages

Bilge keel in way of midship, length abt. 1/3 Lpp, made of HP profile, with a flat bar welded to bilge strake. Lifting eyes will be fitted for pod mounting.

1190 Superstructures and Deckhouses

The superstructure will be made of steel with some light alloy / G.R P. parts in the upper part. Steel bulkheads for galley, provision stores, supply casing, bridge, transformer room, fire fighting station, paint store and engine casing. Compass area will be made of non-magnetic material. 2 rescue boats (for abt. 6 persons), speed abt. 7,0 kn. Each rescue boat will be equipped with a davit. 4 lifeboats / tenders, each accommodating abt. 70 persons. Each lifeboat will be equipped with a davit. Total lifeboat capacity: 280 persons Embarcation stations on deck 7. 16 zodiacs on decks 7 and 8 and 2 davits on deck 7 PS & SB. Further safety equipment as life jackets, life buoys, survival suits etc. according to SOLAS regulations and requirements of national safety authorities.

8 rafts for abt. 25 persons each. The liferafts (4 rafts on PS and 4 rafts on SB) and a liferaft davit will be arranged on deck 6.

4200 Walls and Ceilings

Walls, ceilings and doors of accommodation areas in module SIMPAC, M 1000 or sim., consisting of mineral wool mats with galvanized steel sheet plates laminated on both sides or, in case one side is i.w.o. steel walls, laminated on one side (t = 50 mm / 25 mm). Walls and ceilings in public spaces will be a combination of module and custom- built system. Colours acc. to colour plates and in agreement with the Owners. Window boxes made of steel sheet.

4300 Furniture

Cabins and public spaces will be furnished according to vessel's standard. The detailed room layout will be agreed upon between Owners and the Yard at a later stage. Furniture will be made of fireproof or fire retardant material wherever required (according to room category).

4400 Sanitary Outfit

Prefabricated bathrooms with toilets in passenger and crew accommodation areas, furnished with showers (bath tubs in passenger cabins), vacuum toilets, sinks and mirrored cabinets.

4410 Vacuum Unit

2 vacuum units for collection of abt. 2,5 m³ black water

4500 Galley Equipment

Electrically operated galley appliances adequate in number and capacity to cater for the envisaged number of crew and passengers. Working tables, sinks, cupboards and shelves to be made of stainless steel according to Yard's standard.

Stand By Alarm System (SBA)

Having received signals from the CAMAC-System the SBA system will transmit these signals from the

master panel in the ECR to the preselected panels on the bridge,

in the mess / day rooms, to chief and duty engineers.

The panels have a LCD- display for indication of actual and group alarms. Texts can be individually

programmed.
