Readers’ Views Respected Sir, KP-Ezine is an eminent E-Magazine which elaborates all the deep matters of Astrology. I wish its Long life. Good Luck, Long Live K.P Nilalchala Das (Jyotish Shastracharya) K.P.Astrologer, Amunia Street, Purushottampur, Ganjam, Orissa, Pin-761 018 Dear Kanak Bosmia, Many thanks for your great work with KP-Ezine every month! I'm still learning and still struggling with practicing the KP reader Nr. 3.... especially the new series from Mr. Tin Win for beginners is a great idea. I'm awaiting the next issues to go on learning and can't wait for the practical part about prediction. May I ask you, if you have any KP practitioner in Great Britain on your list? A friend of mine, living in the U.K. is searching for an astrologer in his country practising the KP method and we can't find anybody In the U.K. If you know anybody, please let me know. Thank you very much. Kindest regards from Ulrike Dear Sir, The articles in KP-Ezine are very scholarly. I wish to know about how to get the old KP- Ezines. Please let me know. Thanks Bhishma Esteemed Mr Kanak Bosmia, Thank you very much for the new rules you have added concerning the end of rulers in KP Mundane Astrology. They are simple, powerful and obvious, but not before you point them out. Combined with many paragraphs on mundane astrology scattered throughout the Second Reader, I think, we now have a handle on analysing daily news with KP, thanks to your pioneering efforts and generosity. The 4 rules on the fulfilment of desire pointed out by Mr VSN.Murthy are very useful for everyday application. In fact for a majority of readings for me, these 4 rules are enough. Thank you, Mr VSN. Murthy. Job analysis by Mr Vijay Kumar gives us a

glimpse of how a KP expert works: precise, thorough, methodical and effortless in synthesizing all relevant theory. U Tin Win's survey of KP softwares is sure to benefit anyone who uses a computer to cast a chart. For myself, his articles are on the same level as reference works, not just to read once, but to come back again and again, for instruction and clarification. As a beginner, I don't have the capacity yet to comment on the other articles. Finally, I would like to thank the learned contributors for their generosity in sharing their experience and insight and you, Mr. Kanak Bosmia, for making this valuable magazine available at a price no one can ever hope to beat, which is free of charge. Tha Htu from Myanmar Dear Sir; Kindly advise me how it may be possible to obtain access to the first 16 issues of KP-Ezine to which I have just subscribed. It is a superior educational publication on the Holy Science, and the quality of its teaching articles is excellent. Yours truly, David F. Taylor From: OVN MURTHY

Editor’s Note

Dear KP Lovers, My friend and first student Mr. Ajit Amin is no more with us. He was my very good friend and a very serious student of KP. Amin’s death is very shocking and sad news for me, I pray for his soul to rest in peace at the Lotus feet of God. May God give courage in this time of distress to his wife Rakshaben and their only daughter Mana to bear this shock!!.

Due to starting of my new business, I do not get enough time for KP-Ezine, but ourvery kind Sri Tin Win ji gave more time for KP-Ezine and hence, I did not face anytrouble in publishing the magazine, since last two months. I am indeed very grate-ful to Sri Tin Win ji.

Your feedback, which is wonderful and appreciated, gives great energy to the KP-Ezine, and to all the authors. Hence, I earnestly request you, our Well-wishers, tocontinue sending your feedback, suggestions and comments every month.

This is Your Magazine.

With warm regards,

KP for Beginners- Part 4 Understanding of a KP Chart

by Tin Win

[email protected]

Confusion of the New KP Ayanamsa

1. The choice of ayanamsa, out of around 30 practically available, is up to the preference of an astrologer to get the accurate predictions. There is no need to discuss the correctness of ayanamsa which may depend on the rules and techniques applied by different schools of thought. 2. However, in the KP analysis it is to use the New KP Ayanamsa adopted in 2003 because of the following reasons: 1) Guruji KSK has openly recommended to use only the KP Ayanamsa to make the correct

prediction by the KP rules, and given the ayanamsa values for the year 1840 to 2001 in degree and minute only. This Old KP Ayanamsa was presumed to be constant for the entire calendar year. Not the formula but two basic figures, i.e. year 291 A.D of zero ayanamsa, when both Sayana and Nirayana zodiacs are assumed to be coincided, and the Newcomb’s annual precession rate of 50.2388475 sec., were given by Guruji KSK.

2) Guruji KSK has given the implicit approval of using the ayanamsa correct to seconds for any

date in the calendar year by giving blessing for Manu’s Astrological Tables for All, in which the supporting tables are given in this regard.

3) There is not any significant difference between the Old KPA and New KPA. (Table 1) The

New KPA gives a formula provided by Prof. K. Balachandran for calculating the ayanamsa correct to seconds for any date in any calendar year, using the two figures given by Guruji KSK.

4) The New KPA was adopted in the K.P. & Astrology Year Book 2003 and it supersedes all the

previous KP ayanamsa tables with a request from K. Subramaniam, second son of Guruji KSK, for the co-operation of all the KP followers in this regard.

5) It has been found in the Kanak Bosmia’s study on around 120 life events of 15 AA rated

charts that the New KP Ayanamsa is working better than Lahiri Ayanamsa in the application of KP rules, especially at the Sookshma dasa level.

3. It should not be confused the New KP Ayanamsa adopted in 2003 with the KP Straight Line ayanamsa calculated by the following formula and called the New KP Ayanamsa in some astrological books and SWs. It is also said to be close to the ayanamsa in the Universal Tables of Houses (UTOH). In fact, while the controversy of the correct ayanamsa was going on, the Lahiri Ayanamsa was adopted in the UTOH, though not so stated. Thus the Straight Line ayanamsa is very close to Lahiri Ayanamsa but differs from the Old or New KP Ayanamsa (Table 1) despite the application of the two figures given by Guruji KSK. Ayanamsa = (50.2388475/ 3600)*((Yr- 292)+(261/ 365)+((Mn- 1)*30+Dy)/365) (1) where,

Page 8: KPEZine 18 July 2008

JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 8

Yr = Year of Birth Mn = Month of Birth Dy = Date of Birth Ayanamsa for January 1st 1900, Ayanamsa = (50.2388475/ 3600)*((1900- 292)+(261/ 365)+((1- 1)*30+1)/365) = (50.2388475/ 3600)* (1608 + 262/365) = 22.4500 = 22° 27' Ayanamsa for May 6th 1953, Ayanamsa = (50.2388475/ 3600)*((1953- 292)+(261/ 365)+((5- 1)*30+6)/365) = (50.2388475/ 3600)* (1661 + 387/365) = 23.1944 = 23° 11' 40’’ 4. In the above formula in equation (1), the base year 291 assumed by Guruji KSK is used but one more year than 291, i.e. 292 is subtracted to compensate for the addition of a portion of the year from the base date of April 15th to end of the year, i.e 261/365. This formula is the same as the KP Straight Line ayanamsa formula, which was assumed after a lot of discussion on the old KP ayanamsa, using the two figures as given by Guruji KSK since K.M. Subramaniam (Sublord Speaks) just would not change his view on those two figures. This KP Straight Line ayanamsa is supported by the KPAstro 3.0 since its initial version under the name of KP Straight Line (Adjusted) ayanamsa as some KP astrologers have used this ayanamsa, for instance in the articles of the earlier KP & Astrology Year Books, and the formula is given as under. Ayanamsa = (F- 291)*( 50.2388475)/3600 (2) where F = fractional year taking days between the required date and April 15th Ayanamsa for January 1st 1900, the date before April 15th 1900, the previous year 1899. is taken to calculate the fractional year (F) as follows: F = 1899 + (365 – 105)/365 (from Jan 1st to Apr 15th is 105 days) F= 1899 + 260/365 = 1899 + 0.7123 = 1899.7123 Ayanamsa = (1899.7123 -291) * ( 50.2388475)/3600 = 22.4500= 22° 27' Ayanamsa for May 6th 1953 (attached example chart), the date is after April 15th 1953, the current year 1953 is taken to calculate the fractional year (F) as follows: F = 1953 + 21/365 = 1953.0575 (from 15 Apr to 6 May = 21 days) Ayanamsa = (1953.0575 – 291) * ( 50.2388475)/3600 = 23.1944 = 23° 11' 40’’ 5. The Straight Line ayanamsa values by the above two straight line formulas in equation (1) and (2) and KPAstro 3.0 are the same and it is very close to Lahiri ayanamsa within 1 min but it differs from the Old or New KP ayanamsa around 5 min (Table 1). The small difference in ayanamsa used by various KP astrologers need not bother a beginner unduly. Generally a slight change in the ayanamsa value does not change the important elements of KP, i.e. the star lord and the sub lord. A beginner should go to the essentials, rather than worry about the technicalities of ayanamsa. Table 1: Comparative Ayanamsa Values (As of 1st January)

OKPA= Old KPA, NKPA= New KPA, KPSTL= KP Straight Line (Adjusted) Fortuna 6. In a KP chart, Fortuna is usually included by deriving from the calculated positions of Ascendant, Sun and Moon in the birth chart according to the following formula which is the same for day-born or night-born. It is not a planet and it represents a mathematical point like Rahu/Ketu. Fortuna = Ascendant + Moon - Sun 7. Fortuna deserves serious attention, as it indicates certain results which are not so clearly shown by the aspects formed by the transiting planets to those in the natal chart. One should not omit to include Fortuna while erecting a chart and offering the prediction. Fortuna improves the matters signified by the house in which it is located in the chart. (Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Original Vol I, page 471-2) Fortuna is supposed to give fortune to the native during the conjoined dasa period of its star lord and sub lord. 8. The above Fortuna formula is comparable to the formula calculating – 1) Punya Saham or Fortune of day-born, which is solely used in the Hindu Annual Horoscope or

Varshaphal or Tajik (Acharya Neelkantha, B.V. Raman, Sumeet Chugh); 2) Pars Fortuna or Part of Fortune of day-born chart in Arabian Parts, which is actually

originated from Greek. (Day time is different in Hindu day and calendar day.) 9. In the Varshaphal and Arabian Parts, a night-born (night time) chart reverses the signs before the Sun and Moon as shown under: Fortuna = Ascendant + Sun - Moon 10. But the day time formula only has been used by modern western astrologers like Llewellyn George (The New A to Z Horoscope Maker and Delineator), Robert Hand (Horoscope Symbol) and it is the same with William Lilly’s procedure. 11. It is not to attribute too much to the Fortuna as per study of H J Gouchon, M P Hall, J Mayo and J Wilson. (Geoffrey Dean: Recent Advances in Natal Astrology, A Critical Review 1900-1976). 12. For the attached example chart, May 6th, 1953, 05:10 GMT, 55N57, 03W13, New KPA 23° 6' 56’’, Asc 11° Ta43' 32’’, the Fortuna (Fo) is calculated as given under. Fortuna = 41° 43' 32’’ + 288° 22' 43’’ – 22° 15' 34’’ = 307° 50' 41’’= 7°Aq 50' 41’’ 13. Since the Fortuna is in 11th house of the attached chart, and in the star and sub of Rahu, the native is supposed to be fortunate in matters of 11th house and to get fortune during Rahu-Rahu Dasa-Bhukti. Cusp and House 14. The beginning degree of each house is called cusp. A house begins from the concerned cusp and ends at the next cusp. The cuspal degrees are like boundaries of the house. In the attached chart, the 1st cusp or Asc is 11°Ta43' 32’’, 2nd cusp 1°Ge51' 20’’, 3rd cusp 17°Ge3' 15’’, 4th cusp

Page 10: KPEZine 18 July 2008

JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 10

2°Cn56' 7’’, 5th cusp 24°Cn20' 58’’, (no cusp falls in Leo.) 6th cusp 3°Vi10' 15’’ and so on. The range of 1st house is from 1st cusp 11°Ta43' 32’’ to 2nd cusp 1°Ge51' 20’’ with dimension of 20° 7' 48’’; 2nd house is from 2nd cusp 1°Ge51' 20’’ to 3rd cusp 17°Ge3' 15’’with dimension of 15° 11' 55’’; 3rd house is from 3rd cusp 17°Ge3' 15’’ to 4th cusp 2°Cn56' 7’’with dimension of 15° 52' 52’’; 4th house from 4th cusp 2°Cn56' 7’’ to 5th cusp 24°Cn20' 58’’ with dimension of 21° 24' 51’’; 5th house from 5th cusp 24°Cn20' 58’’ to 6th cusp 3°Vi10' 15’’with dimension of 38° 49' 17’’ and so on, by counting from a cusp to the next cusp. 15 The lord of the house is the lord of rasi sign where the concerned cusp is located. The 1st cusp or Asc is in Tarus and so the Tarus sign lord Venus is the lord of the Asc or 1st house. Since the 2nd and 3rd cusps falls in Gemini, the lord of 2nd and 3rd houses is the Gemini sign lord Mercury, and similarly the lord of 4th and 5th houses is Moon, sign lord of Cancer and so on. The 4 signs, Leo & opposite Aquarius and Libra & opposite Aries are empty signs without any cusp falling in these signs, which are called intercepted signs (floaters by Westerners), and the lords of these empty rase signs do not own any house. However, Saturn is lord of 10th and 11th houses as these 2 cusps fall in Capricorn owned by Saturn, and Venus is Asc lord and Mars is lord of 7th house. 16. In the chart, Sept 18th 1905, 18:30 GMT, 59N20, 18E03, NKPA 22°27' 3’’, Asc 12°Ta52' 41’’, all three cusps, 2nd cusp 1°Ge42' 47’’, 3rd cusp 14°Ge55' 3’ and 4th cusp 28°Ge24' 17’’ are located in the same sign Gemini, i.e. the 2nd house is from 2nd cusp 1°Ge42' 47’’ to 3rd cusp 14°Ge55' 3’’ with dimension of 13° 12' 10’’; 3rd house is from 3rd cusp 14°Ge55' 3’’to 4th cusp 28°Ge24' 17’’ with dimension of 13° 29' 14’’, and Gemini sign lord Mercury is the lord of all 2nd, 3rd and 4th houses. 17. As shown above, the dimension of each house is different in the KP Placidus houses. The house may be less or greater than 30°. The 1st and opposite 7th cusps are the same in all house systems (Placidus, Equal, Koch etc), and in addition the 4th and opposite 10th cusps are the same in Placidus and Koch house systems. The location of planets can be different depending on the house system used, for instance, in the attached example chart, Moon is in 10th of Placidus and Koch houses and 9th of Equal houses, and Saturn is in 6th of Placidus houses and 5th of Koch and Equal houses. In a KP chart, it is to use the Placidus House system, which is one of three pillars of KP. Location of Planets in Houses 18. In the attached chart, since the 12th house is from 12th cusp 3°Pi10' 15’’ to 1st cusp 11°Ta43' 32’’, Venus at 21°Pi54' 29’’, Mercury at 3°Ar16' 24’’, Sun at 22°Ar15' 34’, Jupiter at 6°Ta5' 10’ and Mars at 10°Ta20' 25’ are considered as located in the 12th house. If the orb theory is taken into consideration, Mars is located very close to the next 1st cusp within 1° 23' and it can be supposed to be on the cusp of 1st house and to give the results of 1st house. The orb of 3° 20' is commonly used. But the influence of such located planet on the next house can be certain if the orb is within 1° to 2° and there is no planet in the next house. Similarly Moon at 18°Cp22' 43’’ and Rahu at 14°Cp19' 59’’ are placed behind the 11th cusp of 24°Cp20' 58’’ and after 10th cusp of 2°Cp56' 7’’, and so they are said to be in the 10th house. Aspects 19. The Hindu aspects are applied counting from sign to sign. All planets aspect the 7th sign counted from the signs occupied by them. In addition Mars aspects the 4th and 8th signs, Jupiter aspects the 5th and 9th signs, while Saturn aspects the 3rd and 10th signs by special

Page 11: KPEZine 18 July 2008

JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 11

aspect. Rahu/Ketu does not aspect any planet or house since it is not a planet having physical body but it is only a sensitive intersecting point in the pathway of Sun and Moon. 20. In the attached example chart, Sun in Aries is in conjunction with Mercury as the planets in the same sign are supposed to be conjoined. Moon in Capricorn is in conj. with Rahu and it aspects Ketu in Cancer and also 4th and 5th cusps in Cancer by its 7th aspect. Mars in Taurus is in conj. with Jupiter and aspects 7th cusp in Scorpio by its 7th aspect and also 8th and 9th cusps in Sagittarius by its 8th special aspect. Jupiter aspects Saturn in Virgo by its special 5th aspect and also Moon and Rahu in Capricorn by its 9th special aspect. Rahu in Capricorn acts as agent of Moon by conj. with Moon and of Jupiter by aspect of Jupiter. Ketu in Cancer acts as agent of Moon by aspect of Moon. Planets in Own Star and Planets without any Planet in their Stars 21. In the attached example chart, only Moon is in its own star Moon and Jupiter and Rahu do not have any planet in their stars.

Pranams to Guruji

In the Birth centenary year of our Guruji late Sri K.S.K, who propounded his own method of accurate prediction, and also preached and popularised the same unique method for the benefit of students of Astrology and Astrologers, we owe to him a

lot and we are grateful to him. My Pranams to him on this occasion of his centenary.

Basic Chart

One of my friends brought to me a chart of a lady related to him and asked me to analyse whetherany chronic disease is indicated in her chart and if so whether there is possibility of her diseasebeing retrieved. It was in traditional manner. On a broad perusal of the chart, certain planetarypositions, Lagna lord and 6th lord and important planets were devoid of any benefic influence andwere not in a very happy position as it ought to be. Before, working out a detailed chart based onthe K.P.system, I tried to extract from him the reason for his apprehension. He told me that thelady has some skin problem, white patches formed in her body and face, which has marred herbeauty suddenly after her marriage, and on her first delivery, say in her 25th year or so i.e. at herprime young age in her Rahu Dasa and Jupiter Bhukti.

Her chart prepared by KP Astro 3.0 SW is attached. Verification of the correctness of her birthtime was done in accordance with the “Rule of Origin” by Dr.Andrew Dutta, in Dec. 2007 K.P. E-Zine issue, as follows and the birth time has been taken as correct.

1) Her Lagna star lord and her 9th cusp star lord is one and the same Mars i.e. the original Lagnastar lord is connected with the 9th cusp directly.

2) Her Lagna Sub lord is Moon in the star of Sun, which is 9th cuspal sub lord, i.e. the Lagna cuspsub lord is directly connected with her 9th cuspal sub lord Sun.

3) Her Lagna sign lord is Venus and her 9th cuspal sign lord is Mercury, and both are placed in thesame sign Leo and bhava, indicating their connection.

Analysis by Rulership

As per rulership, the rulers for skin are Saturn, Capricorn, Libra, Venus and Mercury and partic-ularly the adverse effect of Saturn and Mars on Capricorn can cause the skin disease Epidermis.(Encyclopedia of Medical Astrology by H. L. Cornell)

1) Lagna of the native is Libra. Venus is in 11th bhava Leo (Bhadhakasthana) and lord of Lagna and8th (serious illness, defect). Venus is in the star and sub of Sun, Bhadhakasthanadhipathi., in 11thand lord of 11th house.

2) Venus is also conjoined with Sun as well as Mercury, which is in 11th (Bhadhakasthana) and lordof 12 (suffering from disease). Mercury is in the star of Kethu, acting as agent for Moon in 8th,Mars lord of 2 and 7th houses (Marakasthanas), Jupiter in 2nd and lord of 6th (disease) and Sat-urn in 8th house.

3) Mercury is the sub lord of 1,2,6,8 and 12th cusps and so these houses are supposed to be con-nected.

4) Venus is aspected by Mars, lord of 2 and 7th houses, marakadhipathi. Having no planet in itsstar, Mars is supposed to be a significator of 11th for which it is a sub lord. Lagna is for personalappearance (personality). Venus is also karaka for beauty. Such Venus is badly placed in Bhad-hakasthana and aspected by Maraakadhipathi Mars and so the skin disease has marred her beautyon face.

5) Mars and Rahu are conjoined and located in Capricorn. Mars is lord of 2 and 7th houses and inthe star of Moon in 8th and sub of unfavorable Mercury as discussed above. Rahu is an agent ofMars, lord of 2 and 7th and Saturn in 8th and in the star of Moon in 8th by conjunction with the8th cusp within the orb of 3.33.degrees.

6) Saturn is in 8th and in the star of Moon in 8th and in the sub of unfavourable Rahu as discussedabove. Saturn is also conjoined with Moon, a general ruler for blood.

7) Sun is the ruler for blood circulation and Mars, Leo and Rahu are rulers for blood disorders.Mars being conjoined with Rahu in Capricorn and its aspect on the conjoined Sun, Venus and Mer-cury in Leo and Saturn in conjunction with Moon are bound to cause impure blood in body, resultingin the skin disease Epidermis (white patches on skin) with a suddenness. Here Rahu acts as Saturn, which is the Capricorn sign lord where Rahu is located.

K.P. Rules

The K.P. Rules (in Medical Astrology for All by K. Subramanium) for the disease are as follows:

1) In one’s horoscope, the 6th house shows disease, 8th house defect and 12th for isolation (hos-pitalisation etc). 6th house does not reveal the actual disease one is to suffer. It only indicateswhether the disease is one of chronic nature or mild one.

2) The tendency for disease depends both on Dasa, Bhukthi and Anthara lords and 6th house. Plan-ets connected with the 6th house and Lagna will produce disease in their conjoined periods.

3) If the Sub lord of the 6ht cusp is connected in any way to the planet Saturn, and to 6th, 8thand 12th bhavas, then the native will surely suffer from chronic and incurable disease.

The K.P. Rules (in Horoscopes and Diseases by C. R. Bhatt) for the disease are as given under:

1) If the sub lord of 6th cusp be the significator of 6 or 8 or 12 and connected with 1, the neativemay suffer from diesease or therwise during the sub period of this cuspal sub lord of 6.

2) If the sub lord of the 6th cusp be connected with Saturn, disease becomes chronic; if with Marsdisease is acute, sudden and painful, and causes operations; if with Mercury disease gets compli-cated and with Rahu or Ketu disease remains undiagnosed. Rahu is similar to Saturn and Ketu issimilar to Mars in effects.

In this chart, 6th cusp sign lord is Jupiter in 2nd house, for which being strong without having noplanet in its star, and lord of 6th house. Jupiter is aspected by Saturn from 8th and Saturn isalso 6th cusp star lord. 6th cuspal sub lord is Mercury, which is a significator of 6, 8 and 12th hous-ese as discussed above. Thus, the connection of her 6th cuspal sub lord to the planet Saturn andalso 6, 8 and 12th houses confirms the nature of skin disease and its chronicness.

In this chart, Sun and Venus are significators of 1st house and Jupiter is the only significator for6th house. It appears that she suffered from the disease in Rahu Dasa and -Jupiter Bhukti. Asdiscussed above, Dasa lord Rahu is a significator of 2,7 and 8th houses and in conjunction withMars, which aspects the conjoined Sun and Venus, which are the significators of 1st house. Bhuktilord Jupiter is in 2nd and lord of 6th and in the star of Saturn in 8th. house Both Rahu and Jupiterare in the sub of Mercury, which is a significator of unfavorable 2, 7,11th and 6, 8,12th houses. Thus, the native suffered from incurable chronic disease in the conjoined period of Rahu-Jupitersignifying 6th and 1st houses along with 8th and connecting to 12th house.

Analysis for Cure

Now as regards to the possibility of cure, the dasa periods jointly signifying 1, 5 and 11th are gen-erally to be considered. In this case, 11th house is not helpful since it is Bhadhakasthana. Sun,Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus and Ketu are the significator of 11th house and unfavorable for cure.Current closing Dasa lord Rahu and next coming Dasa lords Jupiter and Saturn are the significatorof 5th house but connected with unfavourable Marakasthana, 6th, 8th etc. Moreover, Bhadhaka,Marakadhipathi Mercury is unfavorable for cure by being the sub lord of 6, 8,12th houses. As sig-nification of either 1st or 5th by Dasa lords is not strongly in sight, there is no possibility of re-covery. Thus change of skin to normal condition cannot be expected. This is one of the mostunfortunate cases of disease. Thanks God, it is not turning to worse as epidemic, and left only withwhite patches.

Other Findings

It is heartening to note that her husband and her in-laws are very affectionate to her and the Girlchild of her is quite beautiful and healthy. All these, I am narrating because her well rasi positionof Mars, self strong planet for 3rd house by being 3rd cuspal sub lord without having no planet inits star, portfolio for which is courage and boldness to the native and this Mars has given hercourage to overcome all odds and to lead a happy family life without minding the set back. Karakafor longevity Saturn is in 8th, a place for longevity. Saturn is aspected by Jupiter, a self strongplanet with no planet in its star, which is lord of 3rd bhava, another place for longevity. So herlongevity can be considered as strong and good. However, 1st cuspal sub lord Moon in 11th and inthe star of Sun also in 11th may not indicate long life.

Anyway in this case, Badhaka is bad only for health but not her family life as taught by ourGuruji late Sri K.S.K.

This is my third article on Dictatorship to examine my rules.

History taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangladesh

Short History of Bangladesh:

Zia's rule ended when he was assassinated in 1981 by elements of the military. Bangladesh's nextmajor ruler was General Hossain Mohammad Ershad, who gained power in a bloodless coup in 1982and ruled until 1990, when he was forced to resign under western donor pressure in a major shiftin international policy after the end of communism when anti-communist dictators were no longerfelt necessary.

Since then, Bangladesh has reverted to a parliamentary democracy. Zia's widow, Khaleda Zia, ledthe Bangladesh Nationalist Party to parliamentary victory at the general election in 1991 and be-came the first female Prime Minister in Bangladesh's history. However, the Awami League, headedby Sheikh Hasina, one of Mujib's surviving daughters, clinched power at the next election in 1996but lost to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party again in 2001. These two female ex-Prime Ministersare now in imprisonment in a sub-jail due to their suspected attachment with corruption.

On January11, 2007, following widespread violence, a caretaker government was appointed to ad-minister the next general election. The country had suffered from extensive corruption, disorderand political violence. The new caretaker government has made it a priority to root out corruptionfrom all levels of government. To this end, many notable politicians and officials, along with largenumbers of lesser officials and party members, have been arrested on corruption charges. Thecaretaker Government claims to be paving the way for free and fair elections to be held beforethe end of 2008.

The 22 January 2007 election was postponed indefinitely and emergency law declared on Janu-ary11, 2007 as Army-backed caretaker Government of Fakhruddin Ahmed aims to prepare a newvoter list and crack down on corruption. The Government aims to hold new elections by 2008 butlack of coordination between Election Commission, the Government and the Political Parties. Recentactivities of Government have created uncertainty about Election while Khaleda Zia and SheikhHasina, two leaders of major Political parties BNP and Awami League who ruled the country for 15years last, were detained and are facing criminal charges in court and the banned indoor politicsis yet to be exercised.

Meanwhile the Bangladesh Military has expressed their interest in controlling the country withstatements like "own brand of Democracy" and making changes in the constitution to allow militaryparticipation in politics. They are also assisting the interim Government of Bangladesh in a driveagainst corruption which seems to be mostly targeted against the politicians and opponents. Themilitary has also imposed censorship of the national media and closing down/hampering private TVstations. Illegal detentions and torture to extract confessions have also become rampant.

Dictator or Military ruler’s end

As always Dictator or Military rulers end with death, there are many examples in history, in thisline I will try to give my thought on this subject.

Rules:

1) If 8th Sublord (Secret work of enemy (in this case we can say opposition party), signifies 5(12th from 6 Dictator), 9th (12th from 10-Those in Power), 12th (loss) ; Ruler faces trouble andend of his Govt. or ruling.

Analysis:

8th sublord is Jup is in the star of Sat and sub of Rahu. Jup is in 3 lord of 4, 7. No planet in thestar of Jup and Jup is sublord of 2,8,10. Sat is in 8 lord of 5 (12th from 6 Dictator), 6. Rahu is inJULY 2008 KP-Ezine 19

Dasa Analysis

Running Dasa is Ven. Ven Dasa is from 27 May 2008 to 27 May 2028. Ven is in the star of Marand sub of Own. Ven is in 5, Lord of 2-9, in the star of Mar is in 4 (Democracies, Democratic Gov-ernment and movements), Lord of 3-8.

This Ven dasa is good for democracies, so in my opinion next 20 year is good for Bangladesh.

Is there any election?

The caretaker government claims to be paving the way for free and fair elections to be held beforethe end of 2008.

Rules for Election:

If 3rd (Election, view of people) Signifies 3 (Election, view of people), 9(people who think for op-posite view), 11 (Fulfillment of desire) Elections will be held.

3rd sublord is Ven. Ven is in 5, Lord of 2-9(people who think for opposite view), in the star of Maris in 4, Lord of 3(Election, view of people)-8.

Runing dasa and Bhukti is Ven up to 28 Sept 2011, Ven signifies 3(Election, view of people) and9(people who think for opposite view). So during this Dasa and Bhukti chances of Election is High.

Running Antara is Ven and up to 17 Dec 2008. As per caretaker-Government claim, there is a chancefor election before end of 2008.

OM GAJAANANAM NAMAMHYAM

During the KP Astrologers Forum’s fortnightly meeting conducted on 27-April-2008 chaired bySri Rajendra Nimje, IAS. (Addl. Chief Electoral Officer of Govt. of AP), 8th house matters relat-ing to accidents and life dangers through different sources were discussed in detail. Recently KPSystem in Yahoo Groups Sri Amit Kumar Dubey has put an email to the Forum to discuss differentcombinations for danger to life through fire, electricity, lightening, snake bites, etc. A BirthChart of a Managing Director of a Software Company viz. Dr. Sikha’s Natal Chart (dob: 11.01.1968tob:00:38 pob: New Delhi; 28N39, 77E13, Birth Star: Krittika-2 Rasi: Taurus and Ascendant: Virgo)was discussed in detail.

FACTS OF THE CASE:

In this instant case the native who was bitten by a Cobra at Stoppers Shopee near Begumpet AirPort, Hyderabad in the evening while walking on the roadside in the grass during November 1999,her husband immediately noted the fact and her friend Mrs. Geetha Lakshmi sent an ambulance &shifted her to Apollo Hospital well in time and saved her life.

ANALYSIS:

In the birth chart of the native the I sublord is Jupiter lord of 4,6,7 Bhadhaka (7th is tenatedby Rahu) in 11th house, in the star of Kethu who is in 1st bhava thus assured longevity. Here 7thBhadhaka house is also associated with a negative house 6 – by cuspal interception (which is 12thfrom 7th hence dilution of the Bhadhaka power and also Rahu’s position in 7th bhava as a node willemerge as strong significator of Bhadhaka). Jupiter’s position in 11th in Kethu’s star giving connec-tion to 1 and 11 has supported for longevity.

As per KP Rules (K. Hariharan: KP CUSP sublords & its significance on page 29) ‘6th sublord af-flicted by nodes – bitten by snakes'. Here in this instant case VI sublord Mars is in the star andsub of Rahu. Mars is posited in the 5th and aspected by benign Jupiter from 11th. Although Rahuis in 7th Badhaka, it is an agent of Jupiter in 11th and its sign lord Mars is in 5th. No planet in thestar of Jupiter, which is the sublord of 1,3,7,9th cusps. This is an exemplary chart where for LeoJupiter is a baneful lord of Badhaka turned as a saver from death (cobra bite) by affording timelymedical care through its signification of 1,9,11th houses with the support of 5,11th significationby Rahu..

DBA:

Rahu Dasa, Kethu Bhukthi (25.08.1999 – 11.09.2000) Rahu is in the star and sub of Kethu in 1stbhava. Rahu's signification of Badaka and at the same time life saving 5, 11th houses is disussedbefore. Kethu in the star of Mar which is connected to 5,3,8 and sub of Mercury in Sun’s star aslord of 11th in 3rd. Though cobra snake bite is very dangerous for survival but the star lord con-nection and sub lord connection to 5,3,8 & 11,3 has given rebirth to her.

Background of Mean Nodes and True Nodes

1. The Nodes (Rahu and Ketu) are not planets. They are mathematical points in space indicating the intersection of the orbit of the Earth around the Sun and the orbit of the Moon which revolves around the Earth. The planes of these two orbits intersect each other at 5° 8′ 40″. The line of intersection is the Nodal axis

formed by the Nodes. (Alexander Ruperti: Cycles of Becoming, The Planetary Pattern of Growth.)

2. In reality, the Nodes “wobble” a bit. They do not move at an entirely predictable speed and varyfrom day to day. They frequently turn, station, travel direct, station and return to a retrogrademotion. Although the Nodes move around the Zodiac in a retrograde direction, the True Nodes mayoccasionally be direct and are stationary for several days at a time, as if they are wobbling. That'sbecause the True Nodes take the gyroscopic relationship of the Sun/Moon into account. The MeanNode is always retrograde as said in the scriptures.

3. Prior to the mid-1970s astrologers only had access to the 'Mean Nodes” which is the averageposition of their wobbling or motions. The calculation of the Mean Nodes is easy by taking the av-erage of motions and the True ones is complicated. However, with the advent of computers and theaccuracy of ephemerides and diurnal tables increasing by leaps and bounds, astronomers began toplot its course of wobbling or motions and call this position the True Node. The AmericanEphemeris programmed by Neil Michelsen and published by Astro Computing Services (ACS) haslisted both True and Mean Nodes ever since then. Most software programs now have the optionof Mean or True Nodes whichever one is preferred.

Are True Nodes Really True?

4. The main reason of using the True Nodes is that they are the actual measurement of the exactpositions of Nodes. However,

1) This is somewhat illusory, since the “True” Nodes are true “only twice” a month when the Mooncrosses the ecliptic. Other positions provided for the times in between those two points are justa hypothesis.

2) They are based on the idea that celestial orbits can be approximated by elliptical elements. This works well with the planets, but not with the Moon, because its orbit is strongly perturbedby the Sun.

3) That is why Robert Hand point out in “Horoscope Symbols” that the wobbling Nodes are no more"True" than the Mean Nodes, as they are in their own way just as abstract a concept. They shouldnot be used until research has indicated which, if either, of the two sets of the Nodes is morevalid.

4) The True Nodes can differ from the Mean Nodes by up to 1 ¾ degrees and the Moon crossesthe ecliptic at the True Node, at which time the difference from the Mean Node can be plus/minus0 to 1 ¾ degrees. There are thus three Nodes for which convincing arguments can be made: (1)Mean Nodes (2) instantaneous True Nodes (3) actual True Node nearest a given time. The lasttwo can differ by over one degree. (Geoffrey Dean: Recent Advances in Natal Astrology)

Preference for Mean Nodes

5. Some views in favor of Mean Nodes are as given under:

A Note on Mean Nodes vs True Nodesby

[email protected]

JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 23

Page 24: KPEZine 18 July 2008

1) Vedic astrology uses Mean Nodes since ancient times, thus a vast experience and feed back areavailable on Mean Nodes.

2) In this regard, modern Western astrologers suggest that nothing can be wrathful or malefic inthe “New Age” and that the very idea of “malefic” belongs to a less “enlightened” age. It is thesame in KP that no planet is fully benefic or malefic.

3) An obvious advantage of using the Mean Nodes against the True ones is that they are whathave been used traditionally, so most everything written about the Nodes and commentaries of themeanings are based on the older method of calculation that gives their Mean position. (CelesteTeal: Lunar Nodes, Discovering Your Soul's Karmic Mission; Peter J. Clark)

4) Sanjay Rath says that he still cannot understand why some people use true nodes ignoringParasara and Jaimini's teaching of constant Rahu retrogression which is also confirmed in PrasnaMarga Rahu-Sun-Moon chakra and Jataka Parijatha.

6. It is said that the Nodes can be configured separately for Western and Hindu astrology and inSWs supported are Mean Nodes as default in Hindu astrology and True Nodes as default in West-ern astrology. In fact, the Means Nodes are used not only by Vedic and KP astrologers but also byWestern well known astrologers as shown below:

1) CA Jayne mentions in “The Technique of Rectification” (The Best of Jayne) that some investi-gators are convinced that the Mean Node, the one that is nearly always given, is valid, although onemight well expect that the True Node alone would be valid (they can be 1° 46′ apart).

2) Robert Hand is more inclined to use the conventional Mean Nodes. (Horoscope Symbols)

3) MH Froger (The Nodal Horoscope), CA Kemp (The Astrological Journal, UK) and Marr (MundaneTables of Fixed Stars) find in their studies that the Mean Node gives the more expressive resultsand precise timing in transits, progression and directions. (Geoffrey Dean: Recent Advances inNatal Astrology)

4) Noel Tyl's research has shown that the (Mean or True, but preferably “Mean”) Nodal axis cor-relates very well to the mother's influence in a person's life. (Nodal Axis Revisited; The Astrologyof Intimacy, Sexuality & Relationship)

5) Dane Rudhyar (How to Interpret the Lunar Nodes in a Birth-Chart) says that as the Nodes arenot actual, concrete entities but refer to the interaction of two cycles — the lunar month and thesolar year — the Mean position of the Nodes seems to be more significant than their slightly dif-ferent actual position.

6) Anthony Louis uses the Mean Node in his illustration of the event charts for the San Franciscoearthquake of ‘89 and for the earthquake and tsunami in late 2004

7) Don G. Borkowski prefers to use the Mean Nodes. The True Nodes were something that was pub-licized by Neil Michelsen, but the Mean (meaning mathematically average) Nodes have served himwell since 1971.

Preference for True Nodes

7. The users of the True Nodes are found as given below.

1)AH Morrison (The Direct True Lunar Node), in his tests, finds better timing by True Nodes inprogression and transit. T Escobar (Essentials of Natal Interpretation with Study Guide) prefersto use the True Node without giving reason. (Geoffrey Dean: Recent Advances in Natal Astrology)

2) Elysian personally would always use the True Node, giving the reason that the Mean Node is byits nature an “approximation”, whereas the True Node is the actual, true, measurement.

3) V K Choudhry and System Analysis (SA) use the True Nodes and the SA online free chart atthe following link gives the True Nodes as default setting. The problem with the Mean Node is thatmost of the time that calculation is off at the time of an eclipse whereas it is accurate with a TrueJULY 2008 KP-Ezine 24

Page 25: KPEZine 18 July 2008

Node. Some time ago but not now a chart that shows the nodal positions of Rahu for 2003 in bothMean (in red line) and True (in blue line) had been posted to view the difference.http://www.astrojyoti.com/calculatoroflbitrhchart.htm OR http://www.jyotishtools.com/win-dows.htm

4) Graham Fox finds the True Nodes giving better results. There are often stations or changesof directions of the Nodes on key points of the natal chart at crucial moments (e.g. death of familymembers). Also, the Nodes are eclipse factors, and the positions of the True Nodes better reflectthe actual timing of an eclipse.

5) There are also other Vedic astrologers using the True Nodes and the following free online chartgives the True Nodes as default setting. But it has not been noticed well known Vedic astrologers(other than SA followers) using the True Nodes. http://www.leogold.com

6) It is said that the advantage of the True Nodes against the Mean ones is that when the Moonis in exact conjunction with them, it has indeed a zero latitude. This is not true with the MeanNodes.

7) It may be argued that if all other planets are measured in their true position, then why to usethe mean position for the Nodes alone? It is because the Nodes are shadows or mathematicalpoints and they only reveal their true positions at lunar and solar eclipse to measure their true po-sitions like other planets.

8. Similarly one may wonder if the Geocentric positions of all planets are used, why to use the Ge-ographic latitude of birth place? The difference is that all planets are moving in the sky to measurefrom the center of earth but the birth place is located on earth at different levels from sea. AlsoN Blunsdon points out in “Low Thoughts on High Latitudes” that the angle, which determines theAscendant, is much more accurately given by Geographic latitude than by geocentric latitude. (Ge-offrey Dean: Recent Advances in Natal Astrology)

Observation

9. From the transit list of Rahu changing the rasi signs from 1901 to 2048 posted by Brian Conrad,it is found that the Mean Rahu can change into a rasi up to 30-34 days earlier or later than theTrue Rahu. In such cases where there is a change of sign or house occupation according to cusp, the results of analysis can be different depending which Nodes are used.

10. Vedic and KP astrologers have used the Mean Nodes with success. If someone is interested toknow whether the True Nodes can give better results, research can be done in the following di-rections.

1) Checking which Nodes, Mean or True, better signify major events of a native in the DBAS ofthe Nodes;

2) Looking at what happens when the Nodes go stationary or direct in transit, and seeing whichNodes tally with key events in someone's life.

Job Prospects - a KP appraisal

Effort by Vijay Kumar

Senior Manager, C-DOT Electronic City, Phase-1

Hosur Road, Bangalore – 560 100 080-25119580 (Off), 26587463 (Res) 0-9845039153

[email protected] One of my office colleagues approached me to know about the prospects of his child who had been interviewed recently and was to join almost immediately, as the interview happened very good. Since, I had no choice other than to entertain him immediately, I casted the time chart at the time he told me his query. Since, the query was meant for his child, I did rotate the chart to the 5th house. The time chart casted at June 13, 2008 at 17-17-01 Hrs IST’ at 12N51, 77E40 after rotating to 5th house is presented herewith.

Coordinates of judgment: • In a horary chart, lagna may be examined to indicate the resources available to the

individual with respect to the query. In the present case, it could be with respect to the professional prospects.

• The prospects relating to the profession in the natal chart are seen from the 10th cusp, as

this is where the karma yoga flows down in the native’s life. • Generally, the 6th cusp/house indicates the work/service or the job in particular. With the

advent of various dashas, the suitability of the individual to the job definition may be delineated.

• The 5th house has a peculiar functionality with respect to the karma yoga seen from the 10th

cusp. It is to be noted that the 5th house is 8th from 10th (also 12th house from 6th)and thus represents the serious obstructions, which come on the way of professional fructification.

The analysis of the chart: A brief snapshot of analysis is presented herewith. 1. Examine lagna. Rahu gets the role as the sub-lord of lagna, thus bringing in the element of desires, ambitions and frustration as the natural instincts.

Rahu by itself gets placed in 11th house, but as Rahu is not strong, its placement in 11th house may not be of much significance. Assessing by stellar significations, Rahu gets placed in the star of Mars, which is the strong 2-9th lord placed in 5th house. The strong signification of 5th house is a negative indication towards the fructification of 10th house. Rahu disposes Saturn and Mars, thus the indications of these 2 planets jointly colour what lagna dictates through lagna sub-lord Rahu. Note the significations of Saturn and Mars as below. Saturn is a strong planet, as it does not have any planet in its star. Having ascertained the strength of Saturn, its placement is first examined. Saturn in the chart gets placed in 5th house. From stellar consideration, Saturn falls in the star of Ketu placed in 5th house whereas the sub-lord retro-Jupiter is placed in 10th house. Thus, Saturn strongly operates 5th house and 10th house mildly by its disposition. Since, 5th house is a direct obstruction to the 10th house and Jupiter is retro, the fingers get crossed on the job availability through Saturn. Mars as 2-9th lord is placed in the star of retro-Mercury placed in 3rd house and its sub-lord Rahu gets placed in 11th house. The strong stellar disposition of 9th house by Mars does not portend much in store. Thus, the overall lagna signification points strongly to the 5th house, not very conducive to getting the job. Let us see further.

2. Examine 10th house for professional indications. 10th cuspal sub-lord is retro-Jupiter, which is a strong planet, as there is no planet in its star. Looking to the positional status of Jupiter, it is noted that Jupiter is placed in the own 10th house, thus it may at last help the native to secure the job, though the retrogression of Jupiter may linger the fructification for some time. For the stellar significations, note that Jupiter (as 1-10th lord) is placed in the star of Venus (strong lord of 8th house) placed in 3rd house, meaning that the persuasion of the native (3rd house) may not go on easily (8th house). Mars’s sub-lord Rahu placed in 11th house yet may not deny him the job. By the analysis of the 10th cusp, the job availability may seem reasonably certain but with serious obstructions. 3. Examine 6th cusp for job definition. Saturn is the 6th cuspal sub-lord and as analyzed earlier, Saturn strongly disposes the 5th house, thereby pointing fingers on the obstructions for getting the job. 4. Examine the way the interview went on. Interview is seen by the deliberations happened through 3rd cusp (from native’s side) and that from 9th cusp (from employer’s side).

Incidentally, Venus is the cuspal sub-lord of both 3-9th cusps. Venus falls in the star of Mars placed in 5th house. Here, the interview may have involved some firm dictates from the

Page 29: KPEZine 18 July 2008

JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 29

native’s side protecting his prestige of assertions (Mars). The 5th house, thus again cause things to stalemate. In addition, Venus signifies 3rd house but not any of 6th, 10th or 11th for success in interview.

Thus, looking to the above analysis of Lagna, 10th, 6th and 3-9th cusps, it seemed that a sizeable obstruction to prevail, even though outwardly things seemed OK. In view of the above, I discarded that the job itself may not be available to the native. I have not proceeded to look for the dasha results.

Facts of the case: Even though, I decided on the negative result, yet I asked my colleague to put his ward on line to me so that I could ask him how the interview went on and what was told to him. I came to know that the interview was fantastic, but it was very assertive from the native’s side and the employer was not comfortable with his assertions to the queries made. In short, the employer found himself low before the candidate. It may be noted that even though the employer keeps assuring him for joining whenever the native telephones him, there is no sign of getting the employers nod even after the lapse of a fortnight.

Conclusion:

I conclude herewith with my sincere thanks to Prof. Krishnamurthy, who has devised a pioneering predictive model in predictive astrology, which deserves sincere appreciation.

After my correct prediction on Benazir’s Assassination this is my next prediction on assas-sination.

In this article I want to discuss case of Barack Huessein Obama of US presidential election can-didate. I read news about fear of Assassination of Obama on net. Bellow is link.http://newsbusters.org/blogs/warner-todd-huston/2008/01/08/nytimes-raises-obama-assassination-fears

NYTimes Raises Obama Assassination Fears

By Warner Todd Huston | January 8, 2008 - 12:38 ET

I think we are finding our newest MSM mantra about how evil Americans in general are and Re-publicans in particular are. Mark this as an example of that with the fear that Barack HuesseinObama will get assassinated. This time the New York Times is raising the specter on their The Cau-cus blog in a report by Sarah Wheaton.

Today, in Dover, Francine Torge, a former John Edwards supporter, said this while introducingMrs. Clinton: “Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he wasassassinated. And Lyndon Baines Johnson was the one who actually” passed the civil rights legis-lation.

The comment, an apparent reference to Senator Barack Obama, is particularly striking given doc-umented fears among blacks that Mr. Obama will be assassinated if elected. This is an obvious attempt to pump up Obama by an MSM who is starting to feel that their choice,Hillary, is wounded. I think the MSM is trying to switch candidates by raising Obama up to mythicstatus. These faux assassination fears are built on equating Obama with Robert F. Kennedy andMartin Luther King, Jr. -- but more often Kennedy. This sort of thing elevates Obama to the herostatus that the left heaps upon Bobbie as well as serving to fan the all-Americans-are-racists talk-ing point that the left is so in love with.Keep a NewsBusters eye out for this MSM meme. I have seen it several times of late, so it isspreading throughout the MSM for sure.

I will try to check her suspicion, and cast a horary chart, whose details are as given below:

Horary No: 199/249Question: Will Mr. Barack Obama be assassinated?Date: 15 June 2008Time: 18.48.12 PMPlace: L.G.Hospital, Ahmedabad 23 N 00 72 E 36Ayanamsha: KPNA(Chart attached)

Rule:1

If 8 or 12th sub-lord signifies 8, 12, one can be assassinated in the DBA of 8,12 and Badhaka,Maraka. planets.

Rule:2

If 8 or 12th sub-lord signifies 1,5,11, one can escape from a fatal attack.

Analysis:

8th sub-lord is Sat, which is in the star of Ketu and own sub. Sat is in 7, lord of 1, 2. No planet isin the star of Sat and Sat is the sub-lord of 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, signifying these houses. Ketu is in 7. Ketuis conj with Mar. Mar is in 7 lord of 4, 11.

12th sub-lord is Mar. Mar is in the star of Mer and sub of Jup. Mar is in 7, lord of 4, 11. Mer isin 4, lord of 6,9. Jup is in 12, lord of 3,12.

8th sub-lord signifies 8 and 12th sub-lord signifies 12. But at the same time 8th sub-lord signifies1, 9 and 12th sub-lord signifies 9. So in my opinion, there will be some attempt of assassinationon Mr. Barack Obama but he will SURVIVE the assassination attempt.

Running DBAS

Running Dasa is Jup. This Dasa runs up to 3 Jan 2017 . Jup is in 12, lord of 3, 12, in the star of Ven in 5, lord of 5, 10, in the sub of Ketu in 7. Ketu is inConj with Mar. Mar is in 7, lord of 4 (End of Life), 11 (Badhaka).

Dasa lord Jupiter indicates both 7 (Maraka), 11(Badhaka), 12 (Moksha) and 5 (survival).

Running Bhukti is Ketu. Its period is up to Nov 14, 2008 . Ketu is in the star of Mer and sub ofJup.Ketu is in 7 (Maraka). Ketu is Conj with Mar, which is in 7(Maraka), lord of 4(End of Life), 11 (Bad-haka). Mer is in 4 (End of Life), lord of 6,9.. Jup is in 12, lord of 3, 12.

Again Ketu Bhukti signifies 7(Maraka) , 11 (Badhaka) and 12 (Moksha).

CONCLUSION :-

In my opinion, even though 8th and 12th sublord signify assassination and survival of it, Dasa andBhukti lords do not allow to survive it. So there is a strong indication of assassination during Jupdasa and Ketu Bhukti up to Nov 14th 2008.

Supplementary Natal Analysis

The above conclusion is also found in line with the natal analysis of Mr. Barack Obama’s chart usingthe birth time posted in the following link.

http://images.dailykos.com/images/user/3/BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg

Barack Obama, Aug 4th, 1961, 19:24 PM, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, 157ºW58´, 21ºN29´ (GoogleEarth), Time Zone 10 Hrs (West), New KPA 23° 13' 50’’, Asc Capricorn 24° 37' 44’’. (Chart at-tached)

8th sub-lord is Jup, which is in the star of Sun and sub of Ket. Jup is 12, lord of 2,11 (Badhaka),12. No planet is in the star of Jup and so Jup is a significator of 8. Sun is in 7. Ketu is in 1. Ketu isaspected by Mar in 8 lord of 3, 10. (Mar is very close to 8th cusp within 3° 20'.)

12th sub-lord is Mer. which is in the star of Sat and sub of Ven. Mer is in 6, lord of 5,6,8. Sat isin 12, lord of 1. Ven is in 5, lord of 4,9.

8th sub-lord signifies 8 and 12th sub-lord signifies 12. But at the same time 8th sub-lord signifies1 and 12th sub-lord signifies 1,5,9. Again the assassination attempt is indicated but Mr. BarackObama will SURVIVE it.JULY 2008 KP-Ezine 33

Theory

I am very happy to express that a new theory is propounded to confirm the sex of the child. It isnamed as Child Sex Confirmation Sub-Sub Theory. As a common practice child sex is confirmedgenerally from female charts by judging 5th cusp for 1st issue, 7th cusp for 2nd issue, 9th cuspfor 3rd issue, 11th cusp for 4th issue and so on. In male charts, 11th cusp for the 1st issue, 1st cuspfor 2nd issue, 3rd cusp for 3rd issue, 5th cusp for 4th issue and so on are to be judged.

The procedure is to pickup the concerned cuspal sub-sublord and then follow the four steps seriallyas given under:

1) (A) Concerned cuspal sub-sublord is in the sub-sub of (B).2) (B) Sub-sublord is in the sub of (C).3) (C) Sublord is in the star of (D).4) If this starlord (D)is in the list of the Male stars, Male child will be born; if the starlord

(D) is in the list of the Female stars, then a Female child will be born.

The lists of Male and Female stars are given hereunder.

1) Male Stars (15): Aslesha, Aswani, Bharani, Chitta, Hastha, Krittika, Moola, Punarvasu, Pushyami,Poorvabhadra, Poorvaashadha, Revathi, Swathi, Uttaraashadha, Uttarabhadra

2) Female Stars (12): Anuradha, Aridra, Dhanishta, Jyestha, Magha, Mrigasira, Pubba, Rohini,Satabhisham, Sravanam, Uttara, Vishakha

Charts under Study

Chart No. 1: (Female who gave birth to 5 children) D.O.B.= 6-1-1927, Thursday,T.O.B. = 7-38 AM; P.O.B. = 15-42N, 77-35E. (Chart attached)

For a female take the 5th cusp for the 1st issue. 5th cuspal sub-sub-lord is Saturn (A).1) (A) Saturn is in the Sub-sub of Moon (B).2) (B) Moon is in the Sub of Venus (C).3) (C) Venus is in the star of Sun (D). 4) (D) Sun is in the star of Poorvaashadha which is in the list of Male stars. So Male child was

born.

Next take 7th cusp for 2nd issue. 7th cuspal sub-sublord is Mars (A).1) (A) Mars is in the sub-sub of Mercury (B)2) (B) Mercury is in the sub of Jupiter(C) 3) (C) Jupiter is in the star of Mars (D)4) (D) Mars if in the star of Bharani which is in the list of Male stars. So Male child was born.

Next take 9th cusp for 3rd issue. 9th cuspal sub-sublord is Rahu (A)1) (A) Rahu is in the sub-sub of Jupiter (B).2) (B)Jupiter is in the sub of Venus (C). 3) (C)Venus is in the star of Sun (D). 4) (D)Sun is in the star of Poorvaashadha which is in the list of Male stars. So Male child

should be born as per this theory. But a female child was born.

Similarly next take 11th cusp for 4th issue. 11th cuspal sub-sublord is Venus (A) and Male child was born as indicated by this theory.

Next take the 1st cusp for the 5th issue. 5th cuspal sub-sublord is Rahu (A) and Male child was born as indicated by this theory.

Chart No 2: (Male who had three children) D.O.B= 4-10-1947, T.O.B= 7-31 PM; P.O.B = 15-42N,77-35E (Chart attached)

For a male chart take 11th cusp for 1st issue. 11th cuspal sub-sublord is Rahu (A).1) (A) Rahu is in the sub-sub of Sun (B).2) (B) Sun is in the sub of Saturn (C).3) (C) Saturn is in the star of Mercury (D). 4) (D) Mercury is in the star of Swatiwhich is in the list of Male stars. But a Female child

was born.

Next take 1st cusp for 2nd issue. 1st cuspal sub-sublord is Saturn (A).1) (A) Saturn is in the sub-sub of Saturn (B).2) (B) Saturn is in the sub of Jupiter (C).3) (C) Jupiter is in the star of Jupiter (D).4) (D) Jupiter is in the star of Vishakha which is in the list of female stars. As per this theory

Female should be born. But a Male child was born.

Next take 3rd cusp for 3rd issue. 3rd cuspal sub-sublord is Rahu (A) and a Male child was born asindicated by this theory.

The computer program print-out of all 7 charts with 21 children studied by this theory is shownin the Appendix. (Courtesy of Rangarajan Krishnamoorthy, developer of KPAstro 3.0)

Results

Out of 21 child issues of 7 charts under study, this theory fails in 6 issues, i.e. 3rd issue in ChartNo.1, 1st issue in Chart No2, 1st & 3rd issues in Chart No.3, 1st issue in Chart No.4 and 1st & 2ndissues in Chart No.5, and the success rate of correct prediction is 71% (15/21). This theory canbe applied for both natal and horary charts.

Child Gender Prediction Analysis

By

TIN WIN Dr. K. RANGARAJAN, Ph.D 1. The total charts of 32 with the number of children considered 150 are analyzed for the following four theories of child gender prediction:

1) As per Theory by V.S.N. Murthy, KP EZine July 2008, A = Cuspal sub-sublord, B = sub-sublord of A, C = Sub-lord of B, D = Starlord of C; If D is a Male star, a Male child is predicted; if a Female star, a Female child is predicted.

2) A simplified Theory of V.S.N. Murthy”s Theory is A = Cuspal sub-sublord, B = Starlord

of A; If B is a Male star, a Male child is predicted; if a Female star, a Female child is predicted.

3) According to 4 Step Theory, A = Cuspal sublord, B = Sublord of A, C = Starlord of B; If

C is in the odd sign, a Male child is predicted; if in even sign a Female child is predicted.

4) In Hora Theory, A = Cuspal sublord, if A is a planet without any planet in its star A itself or if A is a planet with any planet in its star, B = Starlord of A is in the Male Hora, a Male child is predicted; if in a Female Hora, a Female child is predicted.

2. As a common practice, for a female chart 5th cusp for 1st issue, 7th cusp for 2nd issue, 9th cusp for 3rd issue, 11th cusp for 4th issue and so on, and for a male chart 11th cusp for the 1st issue, 1st cusp for 2nd issue, 3rd cusp for 3rd issue, 5th cusp for 4th issue and so on are analyzed. 3. For the first three theories the analysis is done by the computer program and the fourth theory is analyzed manually on the KP charts by KPAstro 3.0 using the New KP Ayanamsa adopted in the K.P. & Astrology Year Book 2003. 4. The correctly predicted numbers out of 200 children and percentages are as given under:

1) Theory by V.S.N. Murthy -- 86 children (57.3 %) 2) Simplified V.S.N. Murthy’s Theory -- 72 children (48 %) 3) 4 Step Theory-- 74 children (48.3 %) 4) Hora Theory-- 70 children (46.7 %)

The Results of the Analysis (Col 1= SN, 2 = Chart no, 3 = F/M of chart, 4 = SN of children, 5 = actual gender of children, 6 = Theory by Murthy’s Theory 7 = Simplified Murthy’s Theory, 8 = 4 Step Theory, 9 = Hora Theory)

Will judges in Pakistan be reinstated ?This question was asked by a queerest while my live programme on KP was telecasted in Manchestertv. The answer was negative. I am discussing the case for academic purpose.

Horary number- 35Date- 29-04-2008Time – 20-31Place- Manchester - (53-30 N, 02-15W) UK

Rule

Note the sub lord of 10th cusp, if this sub lord is deposited in the constellation of the planetwhich is significator of 2 or 6 or 10, he must be reinstated. But if the sub lord of 10th cusp is de-posited in the constellation, lord of which is signifying 1 or 5 or 9 or 12 and at the same time notsignifying 2 or 6 or 10 then he will not be reinstated. (KP Reader VI, page 299)

Application of the Rule

Note the 10th cusp sub lord. It is Rahu. Now note its constellation lord. It is deposited in the star of Mars. Now look whether Mars is signifying houses 2 or 6 or 10 ?Mars is in 3 and it is lord of 7.Now look what is stellar signification of Mars ?Mars is in star of Jupiter. Jupiter is in 9 as lord of 8-9-12.Total signification of Mars is 3-7-8-9-12.Mars is nowhere connected with 2 or 6 or 10.Result will be negative.
