Project description and aims

What do young people in Kosovo hope for their future?

The 1st aim is to make young Europeans aware of the current situation of their peers who live in Kosovo

The 2nd aim is to lobby European Institutions in order to obtain easier access for young people from Kosovo to study/work in Europe.

The 3rd aim is to offer a young Kosovar a five month remunerated internship in our new office in Brussels

“Essay Competition”THY will collect theses, papers and essays written by young Kosovars. These papers will be promoted in the Brussels community through conferences and our website

Documentary film THY will send two young European documentary film makers and photographers to Kosovo. They will document the hopes and the dreams of young Kosovars for the future of their country.

Conference in Prishtina THY will organise a conference in Prishtina to announce the 10 winners of the “Essay Competition”.

Position Paper THY will prepare a position paper to lobby to obtain easieraccess to European studies and jobs for young people fromKosovo.

UNI Group is the first Junior Enterprise created in Prishtina (Kosovo) (2006) and is also the first result of a project of the Austrian Junior Enterprise “know&how”, whose aim is to build a network of Junior Enterprises in South Eastern Europe. Its mission is to foster entrepreneurship among young people in Kosovo

Operative Partners on the field

Graffito film is an independent film production house based in Milan and Shanghai, providing award winning short and mid length movies, and creating documentaries since 2007

Institute Alb-Shkenca is a non-profit, scientific organization that has its roots in the online forum bearing the same name, founded in October 2002. The Institute is a volunteer-based initiative of Albanian Diaspora scholars from different fields, educated and trained abroad, who joined their efforts with their colleagues living in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo to contribute towards the social and economic progress of their society.

Knowledge Partners

The Kosovar Stability Initiative (IKS) is an independent, not-for-profit think tank focusing on empirical research and analysis of socio-economic developments in Kosovo, founded in 2004. IKS offers innovative and policy-relevant research with the aim of initiating debates on issues of importance for Kosovo's future.

The Youth Resource HUB Center aims to contribute to the direction of youth energy, in particular for students, in the constructive involvement of youth development and decision making processes. Through numerous activities it offers students training and resources to support their initiatives and projects. Planned beneficiaries are to be at least 3 000 students of the University of Pristina.
