International arbitration

A European incorporated ship owner Acting in an SIAC arbitration (seated in Singapore) commenced by a Korean shipbuilding company for the alleged wrongful termination of a shipbuilding contract. The SIAC proceedings included an application for emergency relief and a hearing before the emergency arbitrator in which we obtained a successful result. Also, acting in an ICC arbitration (seated in Singapore) against a Korean bank in respect of guarantees – this involved proceedings before the Korean courts.
