An aspiring model and a nonchalant Konark derives inspiration from leading Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and Kollywood actors Surya, Dhanush, and Ajith and eventually wishes to add Bollywood acting to his resume for having passion for Indian cinema since a very young age. He plans on receiving his Bollywood training at a program directed by actor Lucky Sanda who has opened up an acting school in Mississauga for those who wish to pursue their passion for acting in the biggest film industry of the world. After the training Konark would be in a position to lend his own seismic rumble to the Hindi 'filmi' world. Fish Tacos - Chris Mills, ExecutiveChef for JOEY Restaurants

Konark Sabharwal - afantastic fascinator

These fish tacos are authentic, simple to make and a perfect summermeal. At your next par ty try cooking these up and making a tacostation; it's social and fun. It is not only fun but won't tie you to thekitchen. Guests will enjoy interacting while building their own.Serves 4Fish TacosIngredients:(For the tacos)12 each 6 inch white corn tor tillas (3 per person)1 lbs Halibut or similar white fish, cut into strips1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, grated2 each Avocados, diced1 cup Shredded lettuce1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced1/4 cup White onions, diced1/4 cup Goddess sauce (recipe follows)3 tbs. Valentina Hot SauceDirections:Grill or sauté the fish with salt and pepper until it is just cooked.Meanwhile, place the tor tillas spread out on a pre-heated BBQ withgrated cheese on them. Spoon a teaspoon of Goddess sauce onto thecheese and place the cooked fish on top. Pile the remaining ingredi-ents on top of each individual taco and close them up. I sometimesuse new wooden clothes pins to keep the tacos shut. Serve with aside of coleslaw!Goddess sauceIngredients:1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup mayonnaise2 tbs. green onions, chopped2 tbs. parsley, chopped1 tsp garlic, chopped2 tbs lemon juice1/2 t dry tarragon2 each anchovy fillet, chopped (Optional)To taste salt & pepperDirections:Combine all the ingredients in a food processor, blending until smooth.Refrigerate for up to one week.

ColeslawIngredients:3 cups green cabbage, very thinly sliced1/2 cup carrot, peeled and grated1/4 cup red onion, sliced thin1/4 cup cilantro, chopped, loosely packed1/4 cup rice wine vinegar2 tbs. Extra-virgin olive oil1/4 tsp. Sea saltDirections:Place cabbage, red onion and carrots in a colander; rinse thoroughlywith cold water to crisp. Allow to drain for 5 minutes. Meanwhile,whisk cilantro, vinegar, oil and salt in a large bowl. Add cabbage andcarrots; toss well to coat. Serve on the side with the tacos.

He has taken lessons in Salsa, Bachata, Merengue,and hip-hop as well. He also enjoys teaching dance and has choreo-graphed a few functions and public events such as South Asian CanadaDay that is held at theCelebration Square inMississauga.Asked where does hewish to reach fromhere, he professed: "Ifeel acting is a craft thattranscends bound-aries. With the grow-ing enter tainment in-dustry in India andoverseas, demand forversatile actors whocan play a variety ofroles has increased and has a direct correlation with their success asan actor. I feel being versatile also means exploring new and un-charted territories as an actor. This is where my dreams and aspira-tions of entering the South Indian industry come from. I also feel theSouth has a lot of potential and new experiences to offer." Keeping thisin mind Konark is setting his sights on the South Indian industry inIndia and is currently learning Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada- four of the main South Indian languages. But he desires to work withdirectors such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, A. R. Murugadoss, and ManiRatnam who are leading film directors of mainstream Hindi cinema.Konark also wishes to debut in India's modeling industry since hefeels it is the land of opportunities and hopes to take part in LakmeFashion Week one day and other prestigious fashion events makingthe rounds across the globe.Konark is currently being trained at the Armstrong Acting Studios inToronto. His upcoming projects include Hiz n Herz Fashion Show,International Fashion Festival, Latin Fashion Week and Ohm WeddingShow that are taking place in August and September. The highbrowedlad believes success is comprised of hard work, persistence andpatience. These three elements have been quite vital in Konark's jour-ney in the entertainment industry who has a rebelliously boyish edgeover others in the industry…..
