You'll set up a Koha Library System that is secure, fully funconal, and upgradable. You will also learn how to use Koha to run your library. Course Outline Overview of Koha Installing Debian and Koha Inial Koha configuraon How to catalogue items Adding borrowers How to circulate items Using noces How to do batch operaons on borrowers and items Acquire materials using the acquisions module How to get out what you put in - stascs and reporng Customising the look and feel Note: These are the topics normally covered but might alter slightly depending on the needs of the trainees. Target Audience Library personnel, librarians, or IT staff who have an interest in learning how to build and maintain a Koha server. Prerequisites Ideally, aendees will have a basic understanding of the Linux command line, and some understanding of web technologies. Please bring a laptop running Linux, so you can take your Koha installaon away with you.
