KM Initiatives at Ericsson At Ericsson they believe in Knowledge and Competence management. Some of their major initiatives include:

1. Image: Aimed at creating a standardized intranet operations at Ericsson

2. Zopps and the Web-Academy: A Platform existing outside Ericsson firewalls that allow the staff and their families to share information socially as well as knowledge based with each other

3. Business Intelligence Center: A Password protected separate knowledge sharing section specially for senior management to share and discuss strategic information

4. KNACK: An internal site that provides access to templates, courses and other internal information that provide competence development

5. Stargate: An Initiative into the Business Consulting part of the business, internet based portal to share and archive business solutions.
