Why not? Putting these types of plastics in the recycling can cause problems with the machinery at the recycling centre. This might mean that all the recycling can’t be recycled and will end up in landfill.

  • You can recycle the following plastics and more at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre

We collect textiles from your kerbside. This includes all clothing, paired shoes, handbags,

bed linen, curtains and towels, but NOT duvets and pillows. Please place your textiles in plastic bags (not black bags)

tied up at the side of your mixed recycling bin.

Don’t forget you can recycle Textiles too!

    Hard plastics from the home...

    Plastic toys

    ...and garden

Please don’t put these in your mixed

    recycling bin!
