MEET THE TEAM

Many buyers move to this area from London, drawn by the variety and high standard of the schools and access to the City that many require. In addition, there are an increasing number of buyers returning to the UK from abroad, either due to job relocation or the desire to educate their children here. Demand for property in the area remains steady and, although prices aren’t rising to any great degree, properties that are priced in line with market conditions are selling well. We anticipate that 2014 will remain positive with a consistent demand and stable prices. The property ‘bubble’ that is being reported in the press is unlikely to happen as there is a caution among buyers in general, especially considering the implications of a future increase in the Bank of England base rate which will drive the cost of mortgage repayments up. However, the factors which make this area so attractive to buyers remain constant and we anticipate that the current momentum we are experiencing will continue into 2014 so long as vendors are realistic in their expectations.
