In 1986 : KMITL became a legitimate

public university under a legislation

called ''King Mongkut's Institute of

Technology Ladkrabang Act'', which

regulates its governance, administration

and operation.

The History of KMITL

In 2003 : KMITL is a government agency under the supervision of the former Ministry of University Affairs, which was merged with the Ministry of Education on July 7.

At present : KMITL is under the supervision of the Commission on Higher Education affiliated with the Ministry of Education.

Administration and Management College.

This place can be called the landmark of

the institute. The monument of King Rama

IV is an important for all students that

means they pray for something they want such as a better grade or some happiness.


2. The train station named Phra Chom Klao station


This place is attractive for graduated students to take

photos or making films. Because of not every university has

the name of train station same as the name of the university.


3. KMITL’s stadium


KMITL’s stadium is popular among

students because everyday people come to

de exercise here and when the university

has a sport’s day all seats of the stadium is

full of the students.


4. King Mongkut's Ladkrabang walking street


The newest shopping market near KMITL

dormitory. The street open on Wednesday evening every week.

The street has many shop such as

cloth shops and food stands. And, this

place has a music contest or mini concert of Thai singer per month.
