expenses continue. We are happy to invite you to join us in completing the “House of God.” If you want to give a donation, we would

space on the envelope to write names, or for your personal intentions. Thank you.

Continuation of Sunday Bulletin – March 31 – April 1, 2018

The final parent class for First Communion preparation will be held on April 8, 2018.

There will be no Religious Education classes on Easter Sunday, April 1st.

Practice for First Reconciliation is April 15 at 10:15 AM.

First Reconciliation date is changed from Saturday, April 21st to Friday, April 27th at 6:30 PM.

Confirmation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic

Church, Onley, VA.

RICE BOWL: On Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday and the first two Sundays of Easter, there will be a

receptacle in the foyer to collect your Rice Bowl donations. It is not too late, to help the poor of the

world. Checks can be made out to “Catholic Relief Services” or to St. Peter’s with the words “Rice Bowl”

on the memo line. Thank you for your participation in this Lenten project.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

LADIES AUXILIARY: The Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus has available a $1000 scholarship to a

2018 senior graduate. To apply for this scholarship, forms may be obtained by phone from Mary Volz at 757-442-

2628, or Mrs. Rose Pierson 757-789-5008. They may also be picked up at the Parish Office of St. Peter the Apostle

Catholic Church.

Forms must be returned by May 12, 2018. Any graduating senior who attends St. Peter, St. Charles or St.

Andrew's who is a confirmed, active Catholic in his/her church may apply.

Knights of Columbus Scholarship: The Knights have available The Paul Braunstein Scholarship/Grant

monies for the Youth of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church that are planning to attend college in the

fall. If your parents are registered at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, and you have interest in

applying for the scholarship/grant monies, applications are available in the Parish Office. Applications

must be submitted by May 26, 2018.

The Msgr. Mickle Council of the Knights of Columbus, Cape Charles will present a Scholarship Award of

$1000 for college to a deserving Catholic High School Senior. Applicants must be resident of the Eastern

Shore and confirmed members of St. Charles, St. Peter’s, or St. Andrew’s Catholic Churches. Applica-
