Devin Elmer (2010), Catt Piotrowski (2010- member), Autumn Nugent (2014), Betty Mertens (2014), James Hammer (2016), Tom Goodwin (2016), Mark Graser (2018) and guest Karly, and Robin Manley (2018 – member). Program: Anne Marie Meigham, executive director described the Adaptive Sports Association (ASA) which conducts the program for our skiers and other people with disabilities. Dave Spencer, a leg amputee, was the leader in establishment of ASA in 1983 focusing on winter sports. In 1997, their expanded to year-around with sports of skiing, snowboarding, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, bicycling, and overnight camping in the Durango area. ASA has 5 full time and 4 part time employees and 300 volunteers. All our skiiers expressed their gratitude for the very positive and life changing experience while participating in the skiing on Purgatory Hill. Your board of directors approved the purchase of Kiwanis caps for all members. They were distributed to members present and members are encouraged to wear them at Kiwanis events, Culvers and Pancake Breakfast. Fred Ross reported Ron Fiedler, former member, has moved to a assisted facility. Jack Padgham, who has been hospitalized, moved back home at his Covenant residence. Ken Saville circulated the signup for our Capitol Christmas Pageant. Volunteers are needed for setup on November 30 after our Friday meeting and ushering and take down on December 2. Announcements:Arlin Brannstrom reported the volunteerpositions are filled for Share Night at Culverson Mineral Point Road on October 30, 4:00 pmto 8:00 pm. Since we receive a percentage ofthe sales, all members are encouraged to dineat Culvers on October 30 between 4:00 pmand 8:00 pm.

Scott Kramer reported signing up for thePancake Breakfast has been excellentincluding members, spouses and a granddaughter. The sign up list can be found on ourweb site and can be found on pages 3 -6 ofthis issue.

Ed Reisch reported Ed Reid and Ed Reischparticipated the Lunch Buddies at MidvaleSchool on October 24.

Brian Martin reported the campaign forRothe Memorial Leadership Scholarshipscontinues with a goal of raising $30,000.Members contributing/pledging are BillBattista, Bob Cropp, Bruce Dewey, VirgilJurrens, Scott Kramer, Ken Saville, ChuckStumpf and Leo Walsh. Payments can bemade to our foundation in care of VirgilJurrens. The scholarships will be for onestudent each from our student clubs:Madison West Hugh School and EdgewoodHigh School Key Clubs and the EdgewoodCollege Circle K Club. The scholarships willbe awarded annual at $1,000 each peryear.
