Because I care & I know we can make a difference

Being an entrepreneur is a road less traveled.
Add to this being a mother entrepreneur and
you will find a journey full of stories of
perseverance and resilience; yet, it is the joy
of purpose, which always has kept my team
and me moving forward.

Why?
Kitu stands for Knowledge, Imagination,
Time, and Us! It began as a journey to
connect with my children through
knowledge, play, and quality time. As you
can see from the photograph, my eldest
son is full of energy and curiosity, For me,
the world offers the most interesting stories
in history, geography, and culture. A world
that is special and full of excitement. And
this is where we both connected.
Working on stories and games of discovery
was just waiting for me. As I look back at my
life, I have lived fascinating experiences
around the world. At 21, I embarked in a train
across India, commemorating 50 years of
Independence. At 25, I was interpreter to Prof.
Robert Mundell, Nobel Prize in Economics. I
traveled to Italy, Ireland, England, Croatia,
Spain, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador,
Paraguay, Brazil, Cuba Mexico, and the United
States. I have worked in the private and public
sector, but being a mother and an
entrepreneur is the experience that has, by
far, excited me. I hope you can join us in our
playful adventures and help children be true
citizens of the world.
“In the end, we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught.” Baba Dioum

+ Explore
The Amazon Rainforest is one of
the most fascinating places on
earth. Being shared by nine
different countries, we chose the
Rainforest as it can teach children
and us the power of diversity,
discovery, and adventure.
Amanda, our main character,
lands of the Rainforest and meets
Yapariwa, a local boy who is
looking for his lost brother Atu.
Children will be able to go on a
nature walk and will learn about
Toucans, will spot an Anaconda,
and will see how even piranhas
have a place in nature. Yapariwa & Amanda
+ Learn
Throughout the game they will
also learn about Geography,
through an animated visual of
South America’s map.
Our story is divided in short video
segments with games in between.
At 3 different levels children will
learn new vocabulary, will play
puzzles, matching, and can try
their reading comprehension at
the end of the story.
Deep in the Rainforest 7 animated chapters & 6 educational games

Amazon Rainforest Discovery 5 worlds full of amazing animals
5 worlds of discovery
Children will unlock five different worlds from the Amazon River Rainforest as they try to find the animals, which are hiding. Each world will have two different levels of play to give children the opportunity to play and remember.
Spotting animals in each of the ecosystems will help children see how animals have their own home.
+
Unique animals
The animals of the Amazon Rainforest makes us stop and think about their uniqueness and nature’s diversity.
From the red eye frog who uses the color of its eyes to scare predators to the crocodile who sleeps with its mouth open, your children will be inspired to learn more.
Bilingual learning
Learning another language is a great opportunity for children. With our apps children will be able to learn the names of different animals in both English and Spanish.
In addition, at the end of each world children will be able to learn useful words to start their bilingual vocabulary.

"My two boys, ages 5 and 7, were immediately drawn in by the imaginative and adventurous KituKids characters, stories, and games. I could see their minds at work as they followed the stories, and the enjoyment they felt being part of the adventure and discovering new ideas." Angie
