1. Do not install control cables on any application which may exceed any of the design parameters of the control cable.2. Cablecraft control cables are non-repairable. Do not attempt to modify this control cable.3. Cablecraft cables are designed to be containment resistant, not containment proof. Protect the cable from contaminants such

as fuel, oil, water, dirt and chemicals which may damage the control cable.4. Protect the control cable from physical damage by paint, kinking, vibration, ect., which may damage the control cable.5. Control cables have the best load capacity in the PULL mode. Always install the control cable so it PULLS the greatest load, and

PUSHES the smallest load, and PULLS the item into the neutral or off position.6. Do not install the control cable with the power on or the engine running. Serious injury or death may result.7. The swivel angle must be centered within the available swivel angle:

8. The usable stroke must be centered within the available travel:

9. Installation should be accomplished by a licensed “A” and/or “P” mechanic.

1. All installations on privately owned certified aircraft must be FAA certified, Form 337.2. Do not install the control cable with the power on or the engine running. Serious injury or death may result.3. Periodic maintenance checks should be performed, at a minimum, every one thousand hours or one year, whichever comes

first. The checks should include all items listed in these cautions and warnings.4. Cablecraft control cables are designed to be non-repairable. Do not perform any repairs to this control cable.5. Cablecraft control cables are lubricated for the life of the control cable. Do not remove the seals or lubricate the control cable.6. A gradual or sudden increase in the no-load (cable free and unattached) friction of a control cable is a good indication of pend-

ing performance problems and/or cable failure. Serious injury or death may result. Replacement is required.7. A gradual or sudden increase in the stroke (travel) length of a control cable is a good indication of pending performance prob-

lems and/or cable failure. Serious injury or death may result. Replacement is required.8. Control cables which have moisture inside of them or have frozen, must be replaced. Do not apply heat to attempt to remove

the moisture. Applying heat will not remove the moisture. Serious injury or death may result. Replacement is required.
