Head of School: Mr Lee Moscato
Dear Parents and Carers,
We can hardly believe where this year has gone; our next newsletter will be on the first day of July! To that end, as the
end of the year draws ever closer, we have started to finalise our plans for the end of this school year whilst beginning to
make plans for the next.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns about next year, please do make contact with us and chat about this. It
might be that a chat with your child’s new teacher, a chat with myself, Mrs Stevens or Mr Moscato could help – remember
we’re always happy to meet with you.
Best wishes,
Claire Fortey
Executive Headteacher
Newsletter No. 33

Morning Drop Off Arrangements
Thank you for supporting us over the last few weeks as we have trialled new drop off
arrangements in the morning. Speaking to the children, they have said they’ve appreciated
the extra space in the mornings – thank you!
Also, it’s lovely to see our Year 2’s growing in independence now that they are making their
own way upstairs ahead of moving to Year 3. Everyone is looking so grown up and mature!
Summer Safe
As the weather (hopefully)
continues to warm up, we’d
politely remind you that we ask
that children come to school in
closed-toe shoes for safety
reasons.
Also, it’s a great idea to apply
high-factor sun cream before
coming to school (and bringing
some into school too if you feel
that’s needed).

Rick Stein Experience Yesterday Year 6 were treated to a fantastic opportunity when they
went to Rick Stien’s restaurant on Events Square, where they learned
how to prepare crabs!
“It was the best trip ever, it was really fun and messy! The
chef, Dom, was really nice to us. We cooked crabs and pulled
the legs off! It was really tasty too, I’ve never tried crab
before!” – Milly O – 6J
